 1) 2010 FL EXST BLDG CODE 301.2.2 NEW AND REPLACEMENT
 MATERIALS.
 EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE REQUIRED OR PERMITTED BY THIS CODE,
 MATERIALS PERMITTED BY THE APPLICABLE CODE FOR NEW
 CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE USED. LIKE MATERIALS SHALL BE
 PERMITTED FOR REPAIRS AND ALTERATIONS, PROVIDED NO
 HAZARD TO LIFE, HEALTH OR PROPERTY IS CREATED.
 HAZARDOUS MATERIALS SHALL NOT BE USED WHERE THE CODE
 FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION WOULD NOT PERMIT THEIR USE IN

 1A) THE WINDOW AND DOOR OPENINGS (THE INFILL) THAT ARE
 BEING CLOSED IN WILL NEED TO COMPLY WITH THE 2010 FL
 BLDG CODE REQUIRING A 1 HR FIRE RATING PER SECTION
 709.1 GENERAL.
 THE FOLLOWING WALL ASSEMBLIES SHALL COMPLY WITH THIS
 SECTION. 1. WALLS SEPARATING DWELLING UNITS IN THE SAME
 BUILDING AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 438.2. 439.2 SEPARATION
 WALLS.
 WALLS SEPARATING DWELLING UNITS IN THE SAME BUILDING,
 WALLS SEPARATING SLEEPING UNITS IN THE SAME BUILDING
 AND WALLS SEPARATING DWELLING OR SLEEPING UNITS FROM
 OTHER OCCUPANCIES CONTIGUOUS TO THEM IN THE SAME
 BUILDING SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED AS FIRE PARTITIONS IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 709. 709.3 FIRE-RESISTANCE
 RATING.
 FIRE PARTITIONS SHALL HAVE A FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING OF
 NOT LESS THAN 1 HOUR. PROVIDE UL
  
 1B) ANY NEW PENETRATION OF THE TENANT SEPERATION WALL
 OR FLOOR/ CEILING ASSEMBLY WILL ALSO REQUIRE COMPLIANCE
 WITH 713.3.1.2 THROUGH -PENETRATION FIRE STOP SYSTEMS.
  
 1C) ALL NEW TENANT ENTRY DOORS ARE TO BE 1 HOUR FIRE
 RATED AS PER 2010 FBC-B TABLE 715.4 AND AS REQUESTED BY
 THE DESIGNER OF RECORD.
