 1) SHEET A5 INDICATES EGRESS THROUGH THE STOCKROOM. IN
 THE 2010 FBC-B 1014.2 THE CODE DOES ALLOW THE SECOND
 MEANS OF EGRESS THROUGH THE STOCK ROOM BUT ALL 4
 REQUIREMENTS TO THAT EXCAPTION HAVE TO BE MET. THE
 FIRST THREE REQUIREMENTS ARE BEING MET AND ONLY THE
 FIRST HALF OF REQUIREMENT # 4 IS BEING MET WITH A
 DEMARCATED PATH, THE SEECOND HALF OF THIS REQUIREMENT
 REQUIRES THE AISLE BE DEFINED BY FULL OR PARTIAL HEIGHT
 FIXED WALLS OR SIMILAR CONSTRUCTION THAT WILL MAINTAIN
 THE REQUIRED WIDTH AND LEAD TO THE DIRECTLY FROM THE
 SALES FLOOR TO THE EXIT WITHOUT OBSTRUCTIONS.
  
 EGRESS THROUGH INTERVENING SPACES.
 4. EGRESS SHALL NOT PASS THROUGH KITCHENS, STORAGE
 ROOMS, CLOSETS OR SPACES USED FOR SIMILAR PURPOSES.
 EXCEPTIONS:
 2. MEANS OF EGRESS ARE NOT PROHIBITED THROUGH
 STOCKROOMS IN GROUP M OCCUPANCIES WHEN ALL OF THE
 FOLLOWING ARE MET:
  
 2.1. THE STOCK IS OF THE SAME HAZARD CLASSIFICATION AS
 THAT FOUND IN THE MAIN RETAIL AREA;
  
 2.2 NOT MORE THAN 50 PERCENT OF THE EXIT ACCESS IS
 THROUGH THE STOCKROOM;
  
 2.3. THE STOCKROOM IS NOT SUBJECT TO LOCKING FROM THE
 EGRESS SIDE; AND
  
 2.4. THERE IS A DEMARCATED, MINIMUM 44-INCH-WIDE (1118
 MM) AISLE DEFINED BY FULL- OR PARTIAL-HEIGHT FIXED
 WALLS OR SIMILAR CONSTRUCTION THAT WILL MAINTAIN THE
 REQUIRED WIDTH AND LEAD DIRECTLY FROM THE RETAIL AREA
 TO THE EXIT WITHOUT OBSTRUCTIONS
  
 2) PB OUTLET MALLS: A LETTER FROM THE QUALIFIER OF BOTH
 THE SHELL CONTRACTOR (EMJ CORPORATION) AND TENANT
 BUILD-OUT CONTRACTOR MUST BE PROVIDED BEFORE TENANT
 BUILD-OUT PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED, IF THE TENANT BUILD-OUT
 CONTRACTOR WISHES TO START WORK BEFORE THE SHELL WORK
 HAS RECEIVED A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION, AGREEING THEY
 WILL WORK TOGETHER TO ACHIEVE CODE COMPLIANCE. THESE
 DOCUMENTS WILL NEED TO BE SIGNED BY THE QUALIFIER AND
 NOTARIZED. PLEASE PROVIDE THE PERMIT NUMBER, ADDRESS
 WITH SUITE NUMBER WITHIN THE DOCUMENT.
