 107.3.5.1 COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS:
 1) WHICH FLOOR IS THIS WORK TO BE COMPLETED ON?
 2. OCCUPANCY GROUP AND SPECIAL OCCUPANCY REQUIREMENTS
 SHALL BE DETERMINED.
 OCCUPANCY LOAD.
 3. MINIMUM TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE DETERMINED
 (SEE TABLE 503).
 4. FIRE-RESISTANT CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS SHALL
 INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS:
 FIRE-RESISTANT SEPARATIONS CORRIDORS T 1018.1.
 FIRE-RESISTANT PROTECTION FOR TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION
 PROTECTION OF OPENINGS AND PENETRATIONS OF RATED
 5) IS THE BUILDING FIRE SPRINKLERED?
 FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS SHALL INCLUDE:
 SCHEMATIC FIRE SPRINKLERS
  
 2) 2010 F BC-B 1031.3 1031.3
 DOORS THAT SWING INTO AN EXIT ACCESS CORRIDOR SHALL BE
 RECESSED TO PREVENT INTERFERENCE WITH CORRIDOR TRAFFIC;
 ANY DOORS NOT RECESSED SHALL OPEN 180 DEGREES (3.1 RAD)
 TO STOP AGAINST THE WALL. DOORS IN ANY POSITION SHALL
 NOT REDUCE THE REQUIRED CORRIDOR WIDTH BY MORE THAN
 ONE-HALF.
  
 3) 2010 FBC-B 713.6 FIRE WALLS, FIRE BARRIERS, FIRE
 PARTITIONS, SMOKE BARRIERS AND SMOKE PARTITIONS OR ANY
 OTHER WALL REQUIRED TO HAVE PROTECTED OPENINGS SHALL BE
 EFFECTIVELY AND PERMANENTLY IDENTIFIED WITH SIGNS OR
 STENCILING IN A MANNER ACCEPTABLE TO THE AUTHORITY
 HAVING JURISDICTION. SUCH IDENTIFICATION SHALL BE ABOVE
 ANY DECORATIVE CEILING AND IN CONCEALED SPACES.
 SUGGESTED WORDING FOR FIRE AND SMOKE BARRIERS: ?FIRE
 AND SMOKE BARRIER ? PROTECT ALL OPENINGS.?
  
 4) IF THE BUILDING IS NOT FIRE SPRINKLERED, THEN THE
 CORRIDORS WILL NEED TO BE 1 HOUR FIRE RATERD, THE
 MECHANICAL PLANS DO NOT INDICATE FIRE DAMPERS IN THE
 CORRIDOR WALLS.FBC-B 716.5.2 FIRE BARRIERS. DUCTS AND
 AIR TRANSFER OPENINGS OF FIRE BARRIERS SHALL BE
 PROTECTED WITH APPROVED FIRE DAMPERS INSTALLED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THEIR LISTING. DUCTS AND AIR TRANSFER
 OPENINGS SHALL NOT PENETRATE EXIT ENCLOSURES AND EXIT
 PASSAGEWAYS EXCEPT AS PERMITTED BY SECTIONS 1022.4 AND
