 1- ACCORDING TO SEC. R301.2.1.4.3 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, THIS BUILDING IS LOCATED ON EXPOSURE
 "C".
 A) THE DESIGN PRESSURES SPECIFIED ON THE WINDOW AND
 DOOR SCHEDULES ARE TOO LOW FOR EXPOSURE "C". REVISE AS
 REQUIRED.
  
 B) THE ROOF PRESSURES FOR THE FLAT ROOF SHOWN ON ROOF
 FRAMING PLAN ON SHEET S.4 ARE TOO LOW FOR EXPOSURE "C".
 AND, CLARIFY WHY SHOWING THE SAME DESIGN PRESSURES FOR
 ZONE 2 AND 3. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 2- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR:
 A) ROOF SHINGLES. THE STATUS FOR PRODUCT APPROVAL
 FL10124-R9 SUBMITTED SAYS "PENDING FBC APPROVAL". NEED
 PRODUCT APPROVAL WITH APPROVED STATUS.
  
 B) ALL THE SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED ON
 PLANS AND DETAILS. ***NOTE: PROVIDE ONLY THE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL COVER PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING THE SPECIFIED
 CONNECTOR.
  
 C) FLAT ROOF: (1)PROVIDE THE RAS 117 CALCULATIONS FOR
 THE NAIL ENHANCING AT PERIMETER AND CORNER AREAS AS
 REQUIRED BY GENERAL LIMITATION #7 ON LAST PAGE OF NOA
 12-0227.18 SUBMITTED.
 NEED THESE CALCULATIONS IN ORDER TO MEET THE DESIGN
 PRESSURES REQUIRED BY SEC. R301.2.1.4.3 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 (2) CLEARLY IDENTIFY WHICH APPROVED ASSEMBLY FROM NOA
 SUBMITTED IS GOING TO BE USED. COORDINATE WITH RAS 117
 CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED.
  
 3- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 ABOVE PRODUCT APPROVALS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1
 OF CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 4- AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED, BRING THEM TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD) TO VERIFY IF IMPACT FEES ARE
 DUE. BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF PAID
 RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE. REQUIRED BY THE COUNTY IMPACT
 FEE ORDINANCE OF THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE.
  
 5- REVISE AND PROVIDE COMPLETE ENERGY CALCULATIONS
 SUBMITTED (SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC):
 A) COMPLETE ALL THE INFORMATION ON TOP OF FORM,
 INCLUDING THE BUILDER'S NAME, PERMITTING OFFICE, ETC.
  
 B) CLARIFY IF DOING THE CALCULATIONS FOR ENTIRE HOUSE
 OR JUST FOR THE ADDITION. CONDITIONED SPACE ON ITEM #6
 IS FOR ENTIRE HOUSE.
  
 C) THE AREA WEIGHTED AVERAGE OVERHANG DEPTH OF 7.720 FT
 ON ITEM #7 IS INCORRECT. TYPICAL OVERHANG ON THIS HOUSE
 IS 6" OR LESS. SEE EXTERIOR ELEVATIONS AND REVISE AS
 REQUIRED.
  
 D) PROVIDE COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS AND DETAILS ON PLANS
 SHOWING HOW THE HOUSE COMPLIES WITH THE "CF" AND "CV"
 CREDITS TAKEN ON ITEM #15.
  
 E) CLARIFY WHY IS THERE ONLY "ONE" OCCUPANT CONSIDERED
 IF THERE ARE THREE BEDROOMS UNDER THE "SPACES" LINE ON
 SHEET 2 OF 6 SUBMITTED.
  
 F) THE TYPE OF ROOF SPECIFIED ON ROOF LINE ON SHEET 2
 OF 6 IS INCORRECT. THERE IS NOT HIP ROOF. SEE
 ELEVATIONS.
  
 G) PROVIDE SPECIFICATIONS/DETAILS SHOWING HOW THE ATTIC
 AND CEILING ARE VENTED AS SPECIFIED ON SHEET 2 OF 6
 SUBMITTED. (COORDINATE WITH PLANS).
  
 H) DOORS ITEM ON SHEET 3 OF 6: CLARIFY THE DOOR
 ORIENTATION AND THE WOOD STORM. THERE ARE NOT STORM
 DOORS AND LOOOK AT NORTH ARROW ON PLANS FOR CORRECT
 ORIENTATION. SEE PLANS AND PRODUCT APPROVALS SUBMITTED.
 REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 I) FRENCH DOORS ARE ALUMINUM, NOT VINYL. GLASS AREA
 TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION FOR THE FRENCH DOORS NEED TO
 BE REVISED.
  
 6- ACCORDING TO WALL SECTIONS SUBMITTED, THE FLOOR
 JOISTS AND GIRDERS ARE CLOSER THAN 18" AND 12" FROM THE
 GROUND. PROVIDE COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS AND DETAILS
 SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE PROTECTION AGAINST WOOD
 DECAY AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R317 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 7- PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 CONSTRUCTION OF GUARDRAILS AND HANDRAILS TO SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. TABLE R301.5 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 8- THE R-19 BATT INSULATION DOESN'T FIT ON A 2X6 WALL.
 (R-19 IS ABOUT 6-1/4" THICK). REVISE INFORMATION IN ALL
 THE WALL SECTIONS AS REQUIRED. COORDINATE WITH THE
 ENERGY CALCULATIONS ALSO. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS
 TO FBC.
  
 9- ACCORDING TO PLANS SUBMITTED THE ROOF PITCH IS 3/12.
 NEED TO SPECIFY TWO LAYERS OF UNDERLAYMENT AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. R905.2.2 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 10- PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS, SPECIFICATION AND
 LOCATION OF THE CROSS VENTILATION AND ACCESS OF THE
 CRAWL SPACE AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R408 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 11- NEED TO SPECIFY GUTTERS WITH DOWNSPOUTS AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. R318.6 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 12- PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATION SHOWING
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE ROOF VENTILATION AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R806 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 13- SPECIFY CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS IN ALL AREAS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R315 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 14- SHEET S.1:
 A) REVISE SCOPE OF WORK NOTES 3 AND 4. REVISE
 ORIENTATION OF THE NEW ROOMS. SEE NORTH ARROW AND
 REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO
 FBC.
  
 B) REVISE ROOF SHEATHING TYPE OF NAILS SPECS SHOWN ON
 THE TYP. WOOD COLUMN DETAIL (AND IN ALL WALL SECTIONS
 AND DETAILS SHOWN ON ALL SHEETS). SEE REVISED SPECS ON
 SHEET S.4 (COMPONENTS AND CLADDING PRESSURE ZONES).
 NEED TO USE MIN. 8D RING SHANK NAILS. SEC. R803.2.3.1
 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
