 1- THERE ARE TWO BUILDINGS IN THIS PROPERTY. CITY
 RECORDS SHOWS DUPLEX ON EACH BUILDING FOR A TOTAL OF 4
 UNITS. PLANS SUBMITTED SEEM TO CHANGE NUMBER OF UNITS.
 CLEARLY IDENTIFY HOW MANY UNITS ARE PROPOSED. SEC.
 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
 AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED, BRING THEM TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD) TO VERIFY IF IMPACT FEES ARE
 DUE. BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF PAID
 RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE.
  
 2- CHANGING USE FROM ONE AND TWO FAMILY (R3) TO
 MULTIFAMILY (R2). PROVIDE COMPLETE PLANS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH CHAPTER 9
 (CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY) OF THE 2010 FBC-EXISTING
 BUILDING. NOTE; PLANS NEED TO BE REVISED FOR EVERYTHING
 THAT APPLIES TO R2 OCCUPANCY. PROVIDE COMPLETE FLOOR
 PLANS SHOWING ALL THE DWELLING UNITS. PROVIDE
 SPECIFICATIONS AND DETAILS FOR APPROVED FIRE RATED
 ASSEMBLIES FOR VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL SEPARATION
 BETWEEN EACH UNIT. PROVIDE SPECIFICATIONS FOR SMOKE
 ALARMS (SEC. 907.2.11.2 FBC-2010). EXTERIOR WALLS
 FIRE-RESISTANCE, OPENINGS PROTECTION (SPECIFY DISTANCE
 BETWEEN BUILDINGS). EMERGENCY EGRESS REQUIREMENTS (SEC.
 1029 FBC-2010) (NOTE: ALL BEDROOM WINDOWS NEED TO
 COMPLY). WIND LOADS AND HURRICANE OPENING PROTECTION.
 STAIRS EGRESS REQUIREMENTS, SOUND INSULATION BETWEEN
 UNITS (WALLS AND CEILINGS). PENETRATIONS IN FIRE RATED
 WALLS OR FLOOR ASSEMBLIES. FIRE SEPARATION AND OPENING
 PROTECTION FROM CARPORT (STORAGE USE S-2), OPENINGS NOT
 ALLOWED FROM CARPORT TO SLEEPING ROOMS, ETC.
  
 3- PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 913
 OF 2010 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
  
 4- REVISE ALL THE DESIGN INFORMATION SHOWN ON DRAWING 1
 OF 3.
 A) SPECIFY OCCUPANCY AND USE AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 401.3
 OF 2010 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
  
 B) REFER TO ASCE 7-10 NOT ASCE 7-05.
  
 C) ACCORDING TO SEC. 1609.4.3 THESE BUILDINGS ARE
 LOCATED IN EXPOSURE "C" NOT "B". REVISE THE EXPOSURE AS
 REQUIRED AND SPECIFY ALL THE DESIGN PRESSURES FOR
 COMPONENTS AND CLADDING ACCORDINGLY (DOORS AND
 WINDOWS).
  
 D) CLEARLY IDENTIFY ON FLOR PLAN: A) WHICH ARE THE
 INTERIOR BEARING WALLS. B) WHICH WHICH ARE THE NEW
 WALLS. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 E) SPECIFY THE SIZE OF ENTRY DOORS FOR EACH APARTMENT
 TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS. SEC.
 1008 OF 2010 FBC.
  
 F) SPECIFY SAFETY GLASS ON WINDOWS ON HAZARDOUS
 LOCATIONS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 2406.4 OF 2010 FBC. SEE
 WINDOW ADJACENT TO KITCHEN DOOR ON APARTMENT "A" AND
 BEDROOM 1-A.
  
 5- VALUE DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO LOW.
 SEC. 109.3 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC. UPDATE THE VALUE TO
 INCLUDE ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK FOR ALL THE TRADES, ALL
 LABOR AND MATERIALS, CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT,
 AND, DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES.
  
 6- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVALS (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR:
 A) ALL DOORS AND WINDOWS THAT WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED
 TO COMPLY WITH NEW EGRESS REQUIREMENTS.
  
 B) HURRICANE SHUTTERS IF WINDOWS AND DOORS PRODUCT
 APPROVALS SUBMITTED DON'T HAVE IMPACT PROTECTION. AND,
 PROVIDE A COMPLETE INSTALLATION SCHEDULE.
  
 C) WINDOW MULLIONS, IF USED. SEE PLANS.
  
 D) ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED ON
 PLANS/DETAILS. NOTE: PROVIDE ONLY THE PRODUCT APPROVAL
 COVER PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING THE SPECIFIED CONNECTOR.
  
 7- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL OF THE ABOVE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 OF CITY
 AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 8- NEW CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY WILL BE REQUIRED WHEN
 CHANGING FROM R3 TO R2. SEC. 901.4 OF 2010 FBC-EXISTING
 BUILDING.
