 PLEASE PROVIDE A WRITTEN RESPONSE TO THE FOLLOWING PLAN
 REVIEW COMMENTS:
  
 1. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-441(C) OF THE CITY?S ZONING
 AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS (ZLDRS), BECAUSE THE
 SCOPE OF THE WORK EXCEEDS 50 PERCENT OF THE VALUE OF
 THE BUILDING, THE ENTIRE SITE SHALL BE BROUGHT INTO
 COMPLIANCE WITH ARTICLE XIV (LANDSCAPING) OF THE ZLDRS.
 PLEASE PROVIDE A COST BREAKDOWN TO SHOW THE VALUE OF
 THE WORK BEING DONE ON THE BUILDING, AS COMPARED TO THE
 VALUE OF THE SITE WORK (I.E. PROPOSED LANDSCAPING) THAT
 IS BEING DONE.
 2. EVEN IF IT IS DETERMINED THAT THE SCOPE DOES NOT
 EXCEED 50 PERCENT, STAFF WOULD LIKE TO WORK WITH THE
 TENANT TO ACHIEVE AS MUCH LANDSCAPING ON THE PROPERTY
 AS POSSIBLE, SUCH AS BUFFERS ALONG OKEECHOBEE
 BOULEVARD, ETC.
 3. LANDSCAPING ISLANDS WILL NEED TO BE INSTALLED AT THE
 EAST ENDS OF THE PARKING ROWS LOCATED BETWEEN
 OKEECHOBEE BOULEVARD AND THE NEW CHAIN LINK FENCE.
 4. PLEASE PROVIDE A DETAIL OF THE PROPOSED CHAIN LINK
 FENCE, INCLUDING HEIGHT.
 5. THE PARKING SPACE THAT CONTAINS AN EXISTING LIGHT
 POLE IN THE MIDDLE OF IT WILL NEED TO BE STRIPED SUCH
 THAT THERE IS NO PARKING.
 6. PLEASE PROVIDE TWO (2) COPIES OF A CURRENT AND
 ACCURATE SURVEY.
 7. PLEASE CLARIFY REUSE OF THE EXISTING SIGN. IS THE
 SIGN TO REMAIN IN ITS CURRENT LOCATION, OR IS IT BEING
 REUSED ELSEWHERE ON THE PROPERTY. IF THE SIGN IS
 RELOCATED, IT WILL NEED TO CONFORM TO ARTICLE XIII OF
 THE ZLDRS.
 8. DUMPSTER ENCLOSURES SHALL CONFORM TO THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 94-444 OF THE ZLDRS, INCLUDING
 THE FACT THAT SCREENING SHALL BE OPAQUE AND NOT
 CHAINLINK. ADDITIONALLY, LANDSCAPING SHALL BE INSTALLED
 AROUND THE ENCLOSURE, CONSISTING OF SHURBS OR HEDGES
 PLANTED AT 2-FOOT INTERVALS.
 9. LANDSCAPE PLANS WILL NEED TO BE SUBMITTED UNDER A
 SEPARATE PERMIT APPLICATION AND SHALL BE ACCOMPANIED BY
 A CERTIFIED COST ESTIMATE.
 10. PLEASE NOTE THAT PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443(C)(3)
 OF THE ZLDRS, LANDSCAPE ISLANDS IN THE PARKING LOT ARE
 TO CONSIST OF SHADE/FLOWERING TREES, NOT PALMS. PALMS
 MAY ONLY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR UP TO 35% OF THE REQUIRED
 SHADE/FLOWERING TREES ON THE SITE.
 11. BASED UPON THE PARKING CALCULATIONS PROVIDED, THERE
 SHOULD BE 79 SPACES LEFT OPEN AS ?NON-DISPLAY? SPACES.
 NON-DISPLAY SPACES SHOULD BE IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE
 ZLDRS WITH ITEMS SUCH AS LANDSCAPE ISLANDS, NO MORE
 THAN 10 CONSECUTIVE SPACES, ETC.
 12. A LANDSCAPE ISLAND NEEDS TO BE PLACED ON THE NORTH
 SIDE OF THE 2 PARKING SPACES IN THE FAR SOUTHWEST
 CORNER OF THE PROPERTY.
