 THE PLANS INDICATE A BUSINESS OCCUPANCY AND WAREHOUSE
 (ASSUMED TO BE STORAGE OCCUPANCY). PER NFPA 101 (W/
 FLORIDA AMENDMENTS - 2009 EDITION) SECTION 39.3.2, AN
 EXISTING BUSINESS OCCUPANCY REQUIRES GENERAL STORAGE
 AREAS TO BE SEPARATED FROM THE BUSINESS AREA WITH A
 1-HOUR FIRE RATED BARRIER (OR BE PROTECTED BY AUTOMATIC
 FIRE SPRINKLERS). DOORS (#D107) SHALL BE SELF CLOSING,
 POSITIVE LATCHING, AND FIRE-RATED FOR AT LEAST
 45-MINUTES PER SECTION 8.7 OF NFPA 101. DUCTWORK AND
 OTHER PENETRATIONS SHALL BE PROPERLY PROTECTED.
  
 PROVIDE PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS. EXTINGUISHERS
 SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM RATING OF 2A:10BC AND SHALL BE
 TAGGED BY A LICENSED FIRE EXTINGUISHER COMPANY. TRAVEL
 DISTANCE TO EXTINGUISHERS SHALL NOT EXCEED 75 FEET.
  
 THUMB-TURN STYLE LOCKS TO BE EQUIPPED WITH A
 LOCK/UNLOCK INDICATOR.
  
 THE COVER SHEET INDICATES AN EXISTING "MEZZANINE" OF
 3,078 SQ.FT.; HOWEVER, NO EXISTING PLANS OR PERMITS
 COULD BE LOCATED FOR THIS WORK. ALSO, THE SIZE OF THE
 "MEZZANINE" APPEARS TO MEET THE DEFINITION OF A TRUE
 SECOND FLOOR WHEREBY TWO EXITS ARE REQUIRED.
