 NO PERMIT RECORDS COULD BE LOCATED INDICATING THIS
 SINGLE FAMILY HOME WAS CONVERTED TO AN APARTMENT
 BUILDING; THEREFORE, A PERMIT FOR A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 NEEDS TO BE SUBMITTED.
  
 PLANS, INCLUDING EXIT STAIRS, SHALL BE DESIGNED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA 101 - LIFE SAFETY CODE (2009
 EDITION WITH FLORIDA AMENDMENTS) CHAPTER 30 TITLED,
 "NEW APARTMENTS."
  
 EXIT ENCLOSURES AND EXIT ENCLOSURE DOORS SHALL HAVE A
 MINIMUM 1-HOUR FIRE RESISTANCE RATING PER NFPA 101
 SECTION 30.2.2.1.2.
  
 PER NFPA 101 SECTION 30.3.5, NEW APARTMENT BUILDINGS
 SHALL BE PROTECTED BY AN APPROVED, SUPERVISED AUTOMATIC
 SPRINKLER SYSTEM. ENGINEERED FIRE SPRINKLER
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR A GENERAL
 BUILDING PERMIT. AFTER THE BUILDING PERMIT HAS BEEN
 ISSUED, THE SUBCONTRACTORS CAN THEN SUBMIT SHOP
 DRAWINGS (CONFORMING TO THE ENGINEERED CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS) FOR A SUB-PERMIT.
  
 PROVIDE PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS. EXTINGUISHERS
 SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM RATING OF 2A:10BC AND SHALL BE
 TAGGED BY A LICENSED FIRE EXTINGUISHER COMPANY. TRAVEL
 DISTANCE TO EXTINGUISHERS SHALL NOT EXCEED 75 FEET.
