 R-2 WHICH IS REVIEWED BY THE 2010 FBC-B & THE 2010
 EXISTING BLDG CODE. 2010 901.3 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION. WHERE THE OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OF A
 BUILDING CHANGES, THE PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS 902
 THROUGH 912 SHALL APPLY. THIS INCLUDES A CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION WITHIN A GROUP AS WELL AS A
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION FROM ONE GROUP TO A
 DIFFERENT GROUP. EXT BLDG CODE 904.1 GENERAL.FIRE
 PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 912 SHALL APPLY
 WHERE A BUILDING OR PORTIONS THEREOF UNDERGO A CHANGE
 OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION.EXT BLDG CODE 912.2 FIRE
 PROTECTION SYSTEMS. FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS SHALL BE
 PROVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTIONS 912.2.1 AND
 912.2.2. EXT BLDG CODE 912.2.1 FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM.
 WHERE A CHANGE IN OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OCCURS THAT
 REQUIRES AN AUTOMATIC FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM TO BE
 PROVIDED BASED ON THE NEW OCCUPANCY IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 CHAPTER 9 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING, SUCH
 SYSTEM SHALL BE PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE AREA WHERE THE
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY OCCURS. 2010 FBC-B F] 903.2.8 GROUP
 R. AN AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM INSTALLED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 903.3 SHALL BE PROVIDED
 THROUGHOUT ALL BUILDINGS WITH A GROUP R FIRE AREA.\
  
 2) PLEASE PROVIDE EITHER A GYPSUM OR UL LISTING FOR
 RATED WALL (FIRE PARTITIONS) FBC-B 709.4 AND FLOOR
 SYSTEMS, (FIRE BARRIERS) FBC-B 707.3 FIRE-RESISTANCE
 RATING & 439.3 HORIZONTAL SEPERATION. THE
 FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING OF FIRE BARRIERS SHALL COMPLY
 WITH THIS SECTION.
 2010 707.5 CONTINUITY. FIRE BARRIERS SHALL EXTEND FROM
 THE TOP OF THE FOUNDATION OR FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLY
 BELOW TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE FLOOR OR ROOF SHEATHING,
 SLAB OR DECK ABOVE AND SHALL BE SECURELY ATTACHED
 THERETO. SUCH FIRE BARRIERS SHALL BE CONTINUOUS THROUGH
 CONCEALED SPACES, SUCH AS THE SPACE ABOVE A SUSPENDED
 CEILING.
 707.7 PENETRATIONS.PENETRATIONS OF FIRE BARRIERS SHALL
 COMPLY WITH SECTION 713.
 707.7.1 PROHIBITED PENETRATIONS. PENETRATIONS INTO AN
 EXIT ENCLOSURE OR AN EXIT PASSAGEWAY SHALL BE ALLOWED
 ONLY WHEN PERMITTED BY SECTION 1022.4 OR 1023.6,
 RESPECTIVELY.
 707.8 JOINTS. JOINTS MADE IN OR BETWEEN FIRE BARRIERS,
 AND JOINTS MADE AT THE INTERSECTION OF FIRE BARRIERS
 WITH UNDERSIDE OF THE FLOOR OR ROOF SHEATHING, SLAB OR
 DECK ABOVE, SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 714.
 PLEASE RATE THE 2ND STORY EXIT CORRIDOR, ONLY ONE SIDE
 IS INDICATED AS A NEW RATED WALL.FIRST FLOOR AND SECOND
 FLOOR. INCLUDING THE UNDER SIDE OF THE STAIR STRINGER.
  
 3) 2010 EXST BLDG CODE 912.2.2 FIRE ALARM AND DETECTION
 SYSTEM. WHERE A CHANGE IN OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION
 OCCURS THAT REQUIRES A FIRE ALARM AND DETECTION SYSTEM
 TO BE PROVIDED BASED ON THE NEW OCCUPANCY IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH CHAPTER 9 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING,
 SUCH SYSTEM SHALL BE PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE AREA WHERE
 THE CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY OCCURS. EXISTING ALARM
 NOTIFICATION APPLIANCES SHALL BE AUTOMATICALLY
 ACTIVATED THROUGHOUT THE BUILDING. WHERE THE BUILDING
 IS NOT EQUIPPED WITH A FIRE ALARM SYSTEM, ALARM
 NOTIFICATION APPLIANCES SHALL BE PROVIDED THROUGHOUT
 THE AREA WHERE THE CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY OCCURS AND SHALL
 BE AUTOMATICALLY ACTIVATED.
 2010 FBC-B F] 907.2.9 GROUP R-2. FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS AND
 SMOKE ALARMS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN GROUP R-2
 OCCUPANCIES AS REQUIRED IN SECTIONS 907.2.9.1 AND
 907.2.9.2.
  
 4) SHEET A-1 UNIT NUMBER 3 IS INDICATED AS A 2 BEDROOM
 BUT THERE IS ONLY ONE BEDROOM THE OTHER ROOM IS TO
 SMALL FOR A BEDROOM AND IS LABELED A SEWING ROOM,
 PLEASE UPDATE THIS DISCREPANCY. 107.2.1.3. ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 5) 2010 FBC 107.3.4.1 PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCTS

 5 CORNER ZONES, THE PLANS DEPICT OPENINGS WITHIN BOTH
 ZONES, PLEASE PROVIDE PRESSURES FOR BOTH ZONES.

 ARE TO BE INSTALLED. COMPONENT & CLADDING VS PRESSUES.
  
 10) ATTIC ACCESS NOT SHOWN. 2010 FBC-B 1209.2 ATTIC
 SPACES.
 AN OPENING NOT LESS THAN 20 INCHES BY 30 INCHES (559 MM
 BY 762 MM) SHALL BE PROVIDED TO ANY ATTIC AREA HAVING A
 CLEAR HEIGHT OF OVER 30 INCHES (762 MM). A 30-INCH (762
 MM) MINIMUM CLEAR HEADROOM IN THE ATTIC SPACE SHALL BE
 PROVIDED AT OR ABOVE THE ACCESS OPENING.
  
 11) 1210.3 SHOWERS. SHOWER COMPARTMENTS AND WALLS ABOVE
 BATHTUBS WITH INSTALLED SHOWER HEADS SHALL BE FINISHED

 A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT ATTACHED TO THE PERMIT
