 1) THE S-2 SHEET FOUNDATION NOTE # 4 INDICATES THERE TO
 BE A SOILS REPORT SUBMITTED. 2010 FBC-B 1803.1 GENERAL.
 GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATIONS SHALL BE CONDUCTED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 1803.2 AND REPORTED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 1803.6. WHERE REQUIRED BY THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL OR WHERE GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATIONS
 INVOLVE IN-SITU TESTING, LABORATORY TESTING OR
 ENGINEERING CALCULATIONS, SUCH INVESTIGATIONS SHALL BE
 CONDUCTED BY A REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL.
  
 2) SHEET PBA-3 DETAIL # 1 AND SHEET PBS-3 DETAIL # 7
 DEPICTS AN AREA OF CONCEALED HORIZONTAL TO VERTICAL
 SPACES REQUIRING FIRE BLOCKING PER 2010 FBC-B 717.2.3.
  
 3) SHEET PBA-3 DETAIL # 1 WILL ALSO NEED FIRE BLOCKING
 AT THE TOP AND BOTTOM OF THE RUN. 2010 FBC-B 717.2.4
 STAIRWAYS. FIREBLOCKING SHALL BE PROVIDED IN CONCEALED
 SPACES BETWEEN STAIR STRINGERS AT THE TOP AND BOTTOM OF
 THE RUN. ENCLOSED SPACES UNDER STAIRS SHALL ALSO COMPLY
 WITH SECTION 1009.6.3.
  
 4) SHEET PBA-3 DETAIL # 1 THE PLUMBING CHASE VERSES THE
 STAIR STRINGERS, MISSING RATED CEILING. 2010 FBC-B
 1009.6.3 ENCLOSURES UNDER STAIRWAYS. THE WALLS AND
 SOFFITS WITHIN ENCLOSED USABLE SPACES UNDER ENCLOSED
 AND UNENCLOSED STAIRWAYS SHALL BE PROTECTED BY 1-HOUR
 FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED CONSTRUCTION OR THE
 FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING OF THE STAIRWAY ENCLOSURE,
 WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
  
 5) SHEET PBA-3 DETAIL # 1 & 2 BOTH DEPICT AN ENLARGE
 DETAIL #2/ PBA 4 PLEASE PROVIDE CLARIFICATION BETWEEN
 THE WRITTEN STATEMENT AND DETAIL. IT APPEARS THE ROOF
 TILE WILL BE ATTACHED TO EITHER GYPSUM SHEATHING OR CDX
 PLYWOOD, IT APPEARS THAT THE INSULASION WILL BE
 SANDWICHED BETWEEN THE TWO LAYERS, PLEASE CLARIFY. THE
 CONCERNS ARE THAT THE FINISHED DECKING WILL MATCH WITH
 THE TYPE DECK FOUND IN THE ROOFING PRODUCT APPROVAL.
 THE SECOND ISSUE OR CONCERN IS THE 5 1/2 INCH THICK
 INSULATION APPEARS TO BE ON TOP OF THE TRUSSES, WHAT
 TYPE OF FASTENERS WILL BE HOLDING DOWN THE ROOF DECK?
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED 107.1.2,
  
 6) SHEET PBA-1 FIRST FLOOR PLAN, PLEASE PROVIDE
 MANUFACTURERS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE INCLINED
 STAIRWAY CHAIR LIFT. THE CHAIRLIFT WILL NEED TO COMPLY
 WITH :
 2010 FBC-B 410.1 GENERAL. PLATFORM LIFTS SHALL COMPLY
 WITH ASME A18.1 (1999 EDITION OR 2003 EDITION)
 (INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE, SEE "REFERENCED STANDARDS"
 IN CHAPTER 1). PLATFORM LIFTS SHALL NOT BE
 ATTENDANT-OPERATED AND SHALL PROVIDE UNASSISTED ENTRY
 AND EXIT FROM THE LIFT.
 ADVISORY 410.1 GENERAL.
 INCLINED STAIRWAY CHAIRLIFTS AND INCLINED AND VERTICAL
 PLATFORM LIFTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR SHORT-DISTANCE
 VERTICAL TRANSPORTATION. BECAUSE AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE
 REQUIRES AN 80 INCH (2030 MM) VERTICAL CLEARANCE, CARE
 SHOULD BE TAKEN IN SELECTING LIFTS AS THEY MAY NOT BE
 EQUALLY SUITABLE FOR USE BY PEOPLE USING WHEELCHAIRS
 AND PEOPLE STANDING. IF A LIFT DOES NOT PROVIDE 80 INCH
 (2030 MM) VERTICAL CLEARANCE, IT CANNOT BE CONSIDERED
 PART OF AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE IN NEW CONSTRUCTION.
 THE ADA AND OTHER FEDERAL CIVIL RIGHTS LAWS REQUIRE
 THAT ACCESSIBLE FEATURES BE MAINTAINED IN WORKING ORDER
 SO THAT THEY ARE ACCESSIBLE TO AND USABLE BY THOSE
 PEOPLE THEY ARE INTENDED TO BENEFIT. BUILDING OWNERS
 ARE REMINDED THAT THE ASME A18 SAFETY STANDARD FOR
 PLATFORM LIFTS AND STAIRWAY CHAIRLIFTS REQUIRES ROUTINE
 MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTIONS. ISOLATED OR TEMPORARY
 INTERRUPTIONS IN SERVICE DUE TO MAINTENANCE OR REPAIRS
 MAY BE UNAVOIDABLE; HOWEVER, FAILURE TO TAKE PROMPT
 ACTION TO EFFECT REPAIRS COULD CONSTITUTE A VIOLATION
 OF FEDERAL LAWS AND THESE REQUIREMENTS.
  
 7) SHEET PBA-1 THE ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM STALLS APPEAR TO
 HAVE A SIZE PROBLEM IN THE WIDTH THE PLANS TOTAL UP TO
 7'-0" IN LENGTH. THE NEW 2010 FL ACCESSIBLITY CODE
 REQUIRES A 60 INCH CLEAR WIDTH FOR THE WATER CLOSET
 FROM THE WALL, THE LAVATORY CAN NOT PATRUDE INTO THIS
 SPACE (604.3.2). THE PLAN ALSO INDICATES THE LAV
 CENTERED 1'-7" FROM THE OTHER WALL. THAT ONLY ALLOWS
 FROM THE CENTER OF THE SINK TO THE 60 INCHES A
 MEASUREMENT OF 5 INCHES. THE MINIMUM ROOM SIZE THAT
 APPEARS TO WORK WOULD BE 7'-1" WITH THE SINK CENETERED
 AT 15 INCHES OFF THE WALL WITH A 19-20" LAV. FIGURE
 604.8.1.6.
  
 8) PBA-3 SCORERS TOWER IS INDICATED TO HAVE 439 SQ FT
 AND AN OPEN STAIRWELL, UNDER 2010 FBC-B 1022.1
 EXCEPTION 1 AND OCCUPANT LOAD LESS THAN TEN AND 1.1 AND
 THE STAIRWAY IS OPEN TO NOT MORE THAN ONE STORY ABOVE
 ITS LEVEL OF EXIT DISCHARGE THIS IS ACCEPTABLE UNDER
 THE FBC. IF THE FIRE CODES ARE MORE STRINGENT THEN WE
 MUST GO WITH THE MOST STRINGENT OF THE TWO CODES.
  
 9) PBA-3 SCORERS TOWER IF THE OPEN STAIRWELL IS TO STAY
 OPEN THEN THE STEM WALL WILL BECOME THE GAURD PLEASE
 PROVIDE A VERTICAL DIMENSION FOR THIS WALL PROVIDING
 CODE COMPLIANCE, 2010 FBC 1013.2 HEIGHTS 42 INCHES.
  
 10) 2010 FBC 107.3.4.1 PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE
 PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY THE DCA RULE 9N-03
 SHALL BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR
 JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
 FL 61G1-23.015 (2) THE ARCHITECT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
 SUPERVISING AND REVIEWING ALL PROJECT DATA, REPORTS,
 SHOP DRAWINGS ETC..

 CONSIDERED REVISIONS AND ASSOCIATED REVIEWS AND FEES
 WILL OCCUR. A WRITTEN RESPONCE INDICATING PRODUCT
 APPROVALS WOULD BE SUBMITTED LATER WOULD PROVIDE AS
 WRITTEN NOTICE OF YOUR INTENT.
  
 BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAY BE ISSUED, IMPACT
 FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE ACTUAL
 PERMIT SET OF PLANS MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT OFFICE, AND
 A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT ATTACHED TO THE PERMIT
