 CHECKLIST.

 1- PROVIDE DRAINAGE PLAN AS REQ'D BY SEC. R401.3 F 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. (REPEAT COMMENT).
 ***ENGINEER OF RECORD RESPONSE LETTER SAID "REFER TO
 ATTACHED RESIDENTIAL DRAINAGE PLANS". WHERE IS IT?.
  
 2- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR:
 A) ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED ON
 PLANS. PROVIDE ONLY THE PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER PAGE AND
 PAGE SHOWING THE CONNECTOR. THIS APPLIES TO STRUCTURAL
 CONNECTORS ONLY. (REPEAT COMMENT. NOT ADDRESSED).
  
 B) GARAGE EXTERIOR SWING DOOR & REAR SWING DOOR AS
 SHOWN ON PLANS. EXTERIOR ELEVATIONS SHOW SOLID DOORS,
 WHILE NOA 12-0118.32 SHOWS GLAZED DOORS. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED TO MATCH. SAME APPLIES FOR ENTRY DOOR.
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE OF SUFFICIENT CLARITY
 AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 3- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
 (REPEAT COMMENT. NOT ADDRESSED).
 ***ENGINEER OF RECORD RESPONSE LETTER SAID "REFER TO
 ATTACHED ENGINEER OF RECORD SIGNED AND DATED PRODUCT
 APPROVALS". WHERE IS IT?
  
 4- SOIL TEST REPORT FROM NUTTING ENGINEERS DATED MAY
 2012 IDENTIFIES MUCK ON THE SOIL. ENGINEER (RICK
 WOHLFARTH) SUGGESTED OWNER (O.C. MOORE) DEEPER TEST
 BORING TO PROVIDE DEEP FOUNDATION RECOMMENDATIONS. MR.
 MOORE TOLD THE ENGINEER THAT HE WILL PERFORM A
 DEMUCKING OPERATION RATHER THAN PURSUING A DEEP
 FOUNDATION SYSTEM. ENGINEER ALSO TOLD TO THE OWNER THAT
 GIVEN THE CONDITIONS OF THE SITE THE DEEP FOUNDATION
 SYSTEM WAS RECOMMENDED RATHER THAN DEMUCKING.
 ***NOTE: OWNER NEEDS TO GET A PERMIT FOR DEMUCKING.
 NEED TO PROVIDE COMPLETE ENGINEERING REPORT FOR THE
 DEMUCKING PROCESS. SEC. 107.2.1.3 CITY AMENDMENTS TO
 FBC. DENSITY TEST DONE BY TESTING LAB OF THE PALM
 BEACHES, INC. DATED 6/13/12 WAS DONE TO A DEPTH OF
 3'-0" ONLY. THERE IS NO INDICATION OF WHAT WAS DONE TO
 THE MUCK. OWNER STILL NEEDS TO ADDRESS THE MUCK ISSUE
 PER SOIL TEST REPORT RECOMMENDATIONS. (REPEAT COMMENT)
 ***ENGINEER OF RECORD RESPONSE LETTER SAID "PREPARING A
 REPORT TO ADDRESS THE EXISTING SOIL CONDITIONS ON SITE
 IN CONJUNCTION WITH PROPOSED RESIDENCE DESIGN, REPORT
 FORTHCOMING". PROVIDE REPORT.
  
 5- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW SOIL TEST REPORT. THE
 REPORT IDENTIFIES MUCK ON THE SOIL AND SPECIFIES THAT
 IF THE SITE IS PROPERLY PREPARED, THEN THE FOUNDATION
 SYSTEM SHOULD BE DESIGNED FOR AN ALLOWABLE SOIL BEARING
 PRESSURE OF 2,000 POUNDS PER SQUARE FOOT. THE REPORT
 ALSO RECOMMENDS A MINIMUM FOOTING WITH OF 16 INCHES.
 ENGINEER OF RECORD SPECIFIES 2500 SOIL BEARING CAPACITY
 AND THE WIDTH OF THE FOOTING IS 14 INCHES. ENGINEER OF
 RECORD TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUES BY REVISING PLANS
 ACCORDING TO RECOMMENDATIONS OR BY PROVIDING
 ENGINEERING ANALYSIS SHOWING WHY IS NOT REQUIRED TO
 FOLLOW REPORT RECOMMENDATIONS. SEC. 107.2.1.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS TO FBC. (REPEAT COMMENT).
 *** ENGINEER OF RECORD RESPONSE LETTER SAID THE SAME AS
 FOR PREVIOUS COMMENT. PROVIDE REPORT.
  
 6- PROVIDE HURRICANE SHUTTERS COMPLETE INSTALLATION
 SCHEDULE TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE PRODUCT APPROVAL
 LIMITATIONS AND DESIGN PRESSURES REQUIRED BY SEC.
 R301.2.1.4.3 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. (REPEAT COMMENT.
 NOT ADDRESSED).
  
 7- REVISE PROPOSED KEYNOTE #PN-31 ON SHEET A-1. GARAGE
 DOOR NOA 09-0604.05 WAS SUPERSEDED BY MIAMI-DADE AND
 WAS NOT THE NOA SUBMITTED BY THE CONTRACTOR. . SEE NOA
 SUBMITTED AND REVISE ACCORDINGLY. CURRENT NOA REQUIRED
 BY DCA RULE 9N-3. (REPEAT COMMENT. NOT ADDRESSED).
