 WOHLFARTH) SUGGESTED OWNER (O.C. MOORE) DEEPER TEST
 BORING TO PROVIDE DEEP FOUNDATION RECOMMENDATIONS. MR.
 MOORE TOLD THE ENGINEER THAT HE WILL PERFORM A
 DEMUCKING OPERATION RATHER THAN PURSUING A DEEP
 FOUNDATION SYSTEM. ENGINEER ALSO TOLD TO THE OWNER THAT
 GIVEN THE CONDITIONS OF THE SITE THE DEEP FOUNDATION
 SYSTEM WAS RECOMMENDED RATHER THAN DEMUCKING.
 ***NOTE: OWNER NEEDS TO GET A PERMIT FOR DEMUCKING.
 NEED TO PROVIDE COMPLETE ENGINEERING REPORT FOR THE
 DEMUCKING PROCESS. SEC. 107.2.1.3 CITY AMENDMENTS TO
 FBC. DENSITY TEST DONE BY TESTING LAB OF THE PALM
 BEACHES, INC. DATED 6/13/12 WAS DONE TO A DEPTH OF
 3'-0" ONLY. THERE IS NO INDICATION OF WHAT WAS DONE TO
 THE MUCK. OWNER STILL NEEDS TO ADDRESS THE MUCK ISSUE
 PER SOIL TEST REPORT RECOMMENDATIONS. (REPEAT COMMENT.
 NOT ADDRESSED).
  
 9- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW SOIL TEST REPORT. THE
 REPORT IDENTIFIES MUCK ON THE SOIL AND SPECIFIES THAT
 IF THE SITE IS PROPERLY PREPARED, THEN THE FOUNDATION
 SYSTEM SHOULD BE DESIGNED FOR AN ALLOWABLE SOIL BEARING
 PRESSURE OF 2,000 POUNDS PER SQUARE FOOT. THE REPORT
 ALSO RECOMMENDS A MINIMUM FOOTING WITH OF 16 INCHES.
 ENGINEER OF RECORD SPECIFIES 2500 SOIL BEARING CAPACITY
 AND THE WIDTH OF THE FOOTING IS 14 INCHES. ENGINEER OF
 RECORD TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUES BY REVISING PLANS
 ACCORDING TO RECOMMENDATIONS OR BY PROVIDING
 ENGINEERING ANALYSIS SHOWING WHY IS NOT REQUIRED TO
 FOLLOW REPORT RECOMMENDATIONS. SEC. 107.2.1.3 CITY
