 CODE: 2010 FBC.
  
 1- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR:
 A) ROOFING CONTRACTOR APPLIED FOR A ROOFING PERMIT.
 NEED PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR THE FLAT ROOF. AND, CLEARLY
 SPECIFY WHICH APPROVED ASSEMBLY IS GOING TO BE
 INSTALLED. ALSO, PROVIDE RAS 117 CALCULATIONS AS
 REQUIRED BY GENERAL LIMITATION #7 TO MEET THE DESIGN
 PRESSURES REQUIRED BY SEC. R301.2.1.4.3 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. SEE LAST PAGE OF NOA. IF GENERAL
 LIMITATION #7 REQUIRES SIGNED AND SEALED RAS 117
 CALCULATIONS. THEN, NEED TO PROVIDE SIGNED AND SEALED
 RAS 117 CALCULATIONS.
  
 B) ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED BY THE
 ENGINEER ON ALL DETAILS AND WALL SECTIONS. PROVIDE ONLY
 THE PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING THE
 SPECIFIED CONNECTOR.
  
 2- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE ALL PRODUCT
 APPROVALS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS
 TO FBC.
  
 3- SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R310 FOR SECOND FLOOR BEDROOM WINDOW.
 WINDOW SPECIFIED IS S.H. 34" X 53". THIS WINDOW SIZE IS
 NOT SHOWN ON THE WINDOW PRODUCT APPROVAL SUBMITTED. IS
 THIS A CUSTOM SIZED WINDOW?. PROVIDE MANUFACTURER'S CUT
 SHEETS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE EGRESS OPENINGS
 (HEIGHT, WIDTH AND TOTAL MINIMUM OPENING AREA OF
 5.7S.F.).
  
 4- ACCORDING TO SEC. R301.2.1.4.3 THIS BUILDING IS
 LOCATED ON EXPOSURE "C" NOT "B". REVISE DESIGN
 PARAMETERS ON SHEET A-1 AND DOORS AND WINDOWS DESIGN
 PRESSURES ON SHEET A-2 AS REQUIRED. OR ENGINEER MAY
 SPECIFY AN INTERMEDIATE EXPOSURE BY PROVIDING A
 COMPLETE RATIONAL ANALYSIS AS ALLOWED BY THE EXCEPTION
 ON SEC. R301.2.1.4.
  
 5- PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
 DWELLING/GARAGE FIRE SEPARATION AS REQUIRED BY TABLE
 R302.6.
  
 6- SHEET A-1:
 A) REVISE ROOF SHEATHING NOTE SHOWN ON THE GENERAL
 CONSTRUCTION NOTES. ROOF ZONE #3 REQUIRES 8D RING SHANK
 NAILS AT 4" O.C. AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R803.2.3.1.
  
 B) REVISE STAIR SPECIFICATIONS TO COMPLY WITH SEC.
 R311.7.4. THE NOSING IS NOT OPTIONAL. SEE SEC.
 R311.7.4.2 TO SEE HOW THE TREAD IS MEASURED AND REVISE
 AS REQUIRED.
  
 C) REVISE DESIGN PARAMETERS. THIS IS NOT ALTERATION
 LEVEL I. SEE SEC. 405 OF 2010 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING AND
 REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 7- SHEET A-2: REVISE DESIGN PRESSURES FOR THE GARAGE
 DOORS. PROVIDE DESIGN PRESSURES FOR GARAGE DOOR SIZE AS
 SHOWN ON PLANS. PROVIDE DESIGN PRESSURES AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R301.2.1.4.3.
  
 8- SHEET S-1:
 A) REVISE STAIR SPECIFICATIONS. SEE ITEM #7(B) ABOVE.
  
 B) PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAIL/SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 CONSTRUCTION OF THE RAILING/GUARDRAIL TO SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH TABLE R301.5.
  
 C) PROVIDE COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE TYPE AND
 NUMBER OF SCREWS FOR THE 2X WOOD DECK AND THE 2X4
 LEDGERS RECEIVING THE STAIR STRINGERS. SEC. 107.2.1
 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 D) PROVIDE MANUFACTURER SPECIFICATIONS FOR RIGID 3/4"
 FOAM INSULATION SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE R-19 VALUE
 SPECIFIED ON WALL SECTION 2/S-2. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
