 1. RESPOND TO COMMENTS IN WRITING.
  
 2. PURSUANT TO THE ZONING CODE, SECTION 94-211(D)(6),
 STORIES ABOVE THE FIRST FLOOR SHALL HAVE CLEAR GLAZED
 AREA AND OPENINGS BETWEEN 25 PERCENT AND 45 PERCENT OF
 THE FACADE AREA. PROVIDE DIMENSIONS SHOWING COMPLIANCE
 ACCORDINGLY.
  
 3. PURSUANT TO THE ZONING CODE, SECTION 94-211(D)(8)
 WINDOWS SHALL BE RECESSED A MINIMUM OF TWO INCHES FROM
 THE EXTERIOR FACE OF THE FACADE. SHOW DETAIL OR
 DIMENSIONS.
  
 4. SHEET A-5 : PURSUANT TO THE ZONING CODE, SECTION
 94-211(D)(10) OPENINGS IN UPPER STORIES SHALL BE
 CENTERED DIRECTLY ABOVE OPENINGS IN THE FIRST STORY.
 THE PROPOSED OPENINGS DO NOT COMPLY. THIS REGULATION IS
 APPLICABLE TO ALL FACADES OF THE BUILDING.
  
 5. PURSUANT TO THE ZONING CODE, SECTION 94-211(D)(13),
 ALL WINDOWS, EXCEPT STOREFRONT WINDOWS, SHALL BE
 OPERABLE. WINDOW C ON SHEET C-5 IS NOT OPERABLE. REVISE
 ALL WINDOWS ACCORDINGLY.
  
 6. SIGNAGE WILL BE REVIEWED UNDER SEPARATE PERMIT AND
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE ZONING CODE, SECTION 94-211(E).
 THE PROPOSED SIGN HAS TO BE PART OF THE FACADE OR BE
 INCORPORATED AS PART OF THE BUILDING. ADDITIONALLY,
 COMPLY WITH SUBSECTION (7) AND (8) SO ALL FASTENERS ARE
 CONCEALED.
  
 ALSO, PLEASE REVISE PLANS TO A UNIVERSAL SCALE SUCH AS
 THE ARCHITECTURAL SCALE OR AN ENGINEERING SCALE.
  
 7. SEPARATE LANDSCAPE AND IRRIGATION PERMITS ARE
 REQUIRED. TWO (2) COPIES OF THE LANDSCAPE PLAN AND A
 CERTIFIED COST ESTIMATE THAT INCLUDES THE TOTAL COST OF
 ALL LANDSCAPE MATERIALS AND LABOR, BROKEN DOWN INTO
 UNIT COST SHALL BE SUBMITTED WITH THE LANDSCAPE PERMIT
 APPLICATION.
  
 PLEASE HAVE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT CONTACT ME TO DISCUSS
 PROPOSED LANDSCAPE PLAN.
  
 NOTE: THE PROPOSED MAHOGANY TREE ALONG THE TERMINAL
 ISLANDS MAY NOT BE APPROPRIATE FOR THE LOCATION BY THE
 ALLEY AND WITHIN CLOSE PROXIMITY OF THE SILK TREE.
 CONSIDER USING A SMALLER TREE SUCH AS THE CRAPE MYRTLE
 TREE 16'HEIGHT, O.A., 6' SPREAD OR PINK/YELLOW TAB OR
 SIMILAR TREE SPECIES. ALSO CONSIDER REVERSING THE
 LOCATION OF THE MONTGOMERY PALMS WITH THE FLOSS SILK
 TREE TO GIVE THE FLOSS SILK TREE MORE AREA TO GROW. IT
 IS CURRENTLY PROPOSED TOO CLOSE TO THE FENCE AT
 +/2'-6".
  
 ALSO, PLEASE REVISE PLANS TO A UNIVERSAL SCALE SUCH AS
 THE ARCHITECTURAL SCALE OR AN ENGINEERING SCALE.
