 SYSTEMS, AND SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS

 1) THE COVER SHEET INDICATES THIS PROJECT WITH THE MAIN
 OCCUPANCY TYPE BEING A F1 OCCUPANCCY. TO DETERMINE IF
 THIS IS A F1 OR A F2 OCCUPANCY A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 PROCESS THAT IS TO TAKE PLACE WOULD BE HELPFULL, PLANS
 INDICATE TTHE USE OF A MACHINE SHOP WHICH WORKS WITH
 METALS, SECTION 306.3 OF THE FBC-B INDICATES THAT METAL
 PRODUCTS THE FABRICATION & ASSEMBLY OF METAL PRODUCTS.
  
 2) IF THIS PLAN IS TO BE CONSIDERED A F2 OCCUPANCY THEN
 THEN THIS REVIEW WILL NEED TO CONSIDER THIS A MIXED USE
 BUILDING SINCE THE ACCESSORY OCCUPANCIES COVERS OVER
 10% OF THE BUILDING (FLOOR) AREA. THE DESIGNER WILL
 NEED TO CONSIDER SEPERATED OR NON-SEPERATED
 OCCUPANCIES, SEE 508.3 & 508.4 ANAD TABLE 508.4 FOR
 RATING OF OCCUPANCY SEPERATION WALLS.
  
 3) IF THE DESIGNER OF RECORD DECIDES TO HAVE SEPERATED
 OCCUPANCIES WITH ASSOCIATED RATED WALLS THEN OPENING
 PROTECTIVES WILL NEED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR DOOR
 OPENINGS WITHIN THE WALL PER TABLE 715.4.
  
 4) THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF FACTORY PROCESS IS
 UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME, A LIST OF MATERIALS THAT WILL BE
 USED IN THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS AND MSDS SHEETS WILL
 BE REQUIRED BEFORE A THROROUGH REVIEW CAN TAKE PLACE.
 PLEASE NOT THAT THE MACHINE SHOPS MAY BE CONSIDERED A
 HAZARDOUS OCCUPANCY OR POSSIBLY JUST CONTROLED AREAS
 DEPENDING ON THE AMOUNT OF FIRE OR EXPLOSIVE HAZARD IS
 ASSOCIATED WITH PROCESSING. PLEASE REVIEW COMBUSTIBLE/
 FLAMMABLE DUST , (ALUMINUM FILINGS) TABLE 414 FOOTNOTES
 A & C.
  
 5) MACHINE SHOP 2 & 3 BOTH HAVE PROBLEMS WITH EXITING,
 THE PLANS SHOW EXITING THROUGH WHAT APPEARS TO BE A
 OVERHEAD DOOR. PLEASE REVIEW FBC-B 1008.1.2 DOORS MUST
 BE SIDE SWINGING.
  
 6) SHEET A-6 INDICATES WHAT APPEARS TO BE TWO MEZZANINE
 AREAS:
  
 6A) THE PLANS INDICATE THIS BUILDING TO BE A TYPE IIA
 PLEASE REVIEW FBC-B 603.1.1 FIRE RETARDENT TREATED WOOD
 WILL BE REQUIRED.
  
 6B) 110.4.2 STORAGE & FACTORY- INDUSTRIAL OCCUPANCIES.
 IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER, AGENT,
 PROPIETOR OR OCCUPANT OF GROUP S AND GROUP F
 OCCUPANCIES, OR ANY OCCUPANCY WHERE EXCESSIVE FLOOR
 LOADING IS LIKELY TO OCCUR, TO EMPLOY A COMPETENT
 ARCHITECT OR ENGINEER IN COMPUTING THE SAFE FLOOR LOAD
 CAPACITY. ALL SUCH COMPUTATIONS SHALL BE ACCOMPANIED BY
 AN AFFADAVIT FROM THE ARCHITECT OR ENGINEER STATING THE
 SAFE ALLOWABLE FLOOR LOADS ON EACH FLOOR IN POUNDS PER
 SQ FT.THE
 COMPUTATIONS & AFFADAVIT SHALL BE FILED AS A PERMANENT
 RECORD OF THE BLDG DEPT.
  
 6C) 110.4.3.SIGNS REQUIRED. IN EVERY BUILDING OR PART
 OF A BUILDING USED FOR STORAGE, INDUSTRIAL OR HAZARDOUS
 PURPOSES, THE SAFE FLOOR LOADS, AS REVIEWED BY THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL ON THE PLAN, SHALL BE MARKED ON
 PLATES OF APPROVED DE SIGN WHICH SHALL BE SUPPLIED &
 SECURELY AFFIXED BY THE OWNER OF THE BUILDING IN A
 CONSPICUOUS PLACE IN EACH STORY TO WHICH THEY RELATE.
 SUCH PLATES SHALL NOT BE REMOVED OR DEFACED, & IF LOST,
 REMOVED THE OWNER OF THE BUILDING SHALL REPLACE THEM.
  
 6D) THE MEZZANINE ABOVE TTHE SHIPPING ROOM PLEASE
 PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION ON HOW THE AREA LIMITATION IN
 505.2 IS BEING MET EVEN WITH EXCEPTION # 2.
 505.2 AREA LIMITATION. THE AGGREGATE AREA OF A
 MEZZANINE OR MEZZANINES WITHIN A ROOM SHALL NOT EXCEED
 ONE-THIRD OF THE FLOOR AREA OF THAT ROOM OR SPACE IN
 WHICH THEY ARE LOCATED. THE ENCLOSED PORTION OF A ROOM
 SHALL NOT BE INCLUDED IN A DETERMINATION OF THE FLOOR
 AREA OF THE ROOM IN WHICH THE MEZZANINE IS LOCATED. IN
 DETERMINING THE ALLOWABLE MEZZANINE AREA, THE AREA OF
 THE MEZZANINE SHALL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE FLOOR AREA
 OF THE ROOM.
 2. THE AGGREGATE AREA OF MEZZANINES IN BUILDINGS AND
 STRUCTURES OF TYPE I OR II CONSTRUCTION SHALL NOT
 EXCEED ONE-HALF OF THE FLOOR AREA OF THE ROOM IN
 BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES EQUIPPED THROUGHOUT WITH AN
 APPROVED AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 SECTION 903.3.1.1 AND AN APPROVED EMERGENCY VOICE/ALARM
 COMMUNICATION SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
 907.2.12.2.
