 (CONCRETE MASONRY UNIT) DESIGN. SHEET S1.02 INDICATES
 THE USAGE OF REWARD WALL SYSTEM, ENTIRELY DIFFERENT FOR

 PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH FBC-B 1918.(1 & 2)
 .1918.1 REINFORCED CONCRETE COMPONENTS. THE DESIGN AND
 CONSTRUCTION OF REINFORCED CONCRETE COMPONENTS FOR
 BUILDINGS SITED IN AREAS WITH A BASIC WIND SPEED
 GREATER THAN 100 MPH (45 M/S) IN ACCORDANCE WITH FIGURE
 1609 SHALL CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF ACI 318 OR
 WITH SECTION 1609.1.1, EXCEPTION 3, AS APPLICABLE,
 EXCEPT AS MODIFIED IN THIS SECTION
 1918.2 INSULATED CONCRETE FORM WALL. INSULATED CONCRETE
 FORM (ICF) WALL CONSTRUCTION FOR BUILDINGS SHALL BE IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH ACI 318 OR WITH SECTION 1609.1.1,
 EXCEPTION 3, AS APPLICABLE.
 PLEASE NOTE THAT EXEMPTION 3 ALLOWS FOR THE DESIGN
 GUIDE IBHS GUIDELINES FOR HURRICANE RESISTANT
 CONSTRUCTION PROVIDES A PRESCRIPTIVE REQUIREMENTS FOR
 BUILDINGS OF R2 & R3 OCCUPANCIES.
  
 THE DESIGNER DOES HAVE THE OPTION OF FBC-B 104.9
 APPROVED MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT. MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT
 AND DEVICES APPROVED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL SHALL BE
 CONSTRUCTED AND INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SUCH
 APPROVAL.
  
 104.9.1 USED MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT. THE USE OF USED
 MATERIALS WHICH MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS CODE FOR
 NEW MATERIALS IS PERMITTED. USED EQUIPMENT AND DEVICES
 SHALL NOT BE REUSED UNLESS APPROVED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.
  
 7.3) WIND REQUIREMENTS ARE SHOWN ON SHEET S1.01:

 WITHIN EXPOSURE B-TYPE TERRAIN WHERE THE BUILDING IS
 WITHIN 100 FEET HORIZONTALLY IN ANY DIRECTION OF OPEN
 AREAS OF EXPOSURE C-TYPE TERRAIN THAT EXTENDS MORE THAN
 600 FEET (182.9 M) AND WIDTH GREATER THAN 150 FT. IN
 THE UPWIND DIRECTION.
  
 7.3.2 BUILDING ENVELOPE: MULTIPLE ISSUES:
 COMPONENTS & CLADDING ,1609, WALL OPENINGS, PRESSURES
 WILL BE GREATER FOR A ?C? EXPOSURE WITH HEIGHT
 MULTIPLIERS OF 1.35 FOR A BUILDING WITH A MEAN ROOF
 HEIGHT OF 25 FEET. PLEASE PROVIDE PRESSURES FOR 10 SQ
 FT FOR BOTH ZONES 4 & 5 SINCE THESE ARE THE WORST CASE
 FOR INTERIOR ZONES AND END ZONES. FURTHER
 IDENTIFICATION OF EFFECTIVE WIND AREA (20 SQ FT, 50 SQ
 FT) AND ASSOCIATED PRESSURES WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE ROOF PRESSURES FOR ZONES 1,2 &3 FOR BOTH
 THE SLOPED ROOF AND FLAT ROOF.
  
 7.3.3 106.3.3 PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH
 ARE REGULATED BY THE DCA RULE 9B-72 SHALL BE REVIEWED
 AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR
 TO SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.

 8). MATERIALS SHALL BE REVIEWED AND SHALL AT A MINIMUM

 8.2 HOW THE INTERIOR WALLS WILL BE ATTACHED TO THE FOAM
 INSULATING BLOCKS?
  
 8.3 PLANS ARE SILENT ON WHAT TYPE OF INSULATION TO BE
 INSTALLED AT THE ROOF SYSTEM, PLEASE NOTE THE PITCH OF
 THE BOTTOM CHORD OF THE TRUSS.
  
 9) PLEASE PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS FOR THE PROJECT
 FBC-B 13-400.0 METHODS OF COMPLIANCE .
  
  
 10). INTERIOR REQUIREMENTS SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
 INTERIOR FINISHES PER TABLE 803.5.
  
 11) SHEET A-2.1 INDICATES THE USE OR INSTALATION OF A
