 PLEASE RESPOND TO COMMENTS IN WRITING.
  
 1) THE PARKING LOT REQUIRES A SEPARATE PERMIT. PLEASE
 CONSIDER USING THE D CURB INSTEAD OF THE WHEEL STOPS
 AND ALLOWING A TWO (2) FOOT OVERHANG TO PROVIDE SOME
 MORE GREEN AREA ON THE SITE. STAFF ACKNOWLEDGES THAT
 THE PLANS INCLUDE THE D CURB DETAIL, BUT THE SUGGESTION
 IS NOT TO HAVE A WHEEL STOP AND A D CURB, BUT RATHER
 MOVE THE D CURB IN FROM THE END OF THE PARKING SPACE
 AND INSTALL IT IN PLACE OF THE WHEEL STOP SO THAT SOD,
 NOT PAVING, IS OVERHUNG BY THE CAR. IF THE OWNER WISHES
 TO CONSTRUCT THE PARKING LOT WITH THE WHEEL STOP AND
 THE CURB AT EACH PARKING SPACE, THEN THE PLANS
 SUBMITTED AS PART OF THE PARKING LOT PERMIT WILL BE
 REVIEWED AS SUCH.
  
 2) THE LANDSCAPE REQUIRES A SEPARATE LANDSCAPE PERMIT.
  
 3) REPEAT COMMENT - THE SITE NO LONGER SHOWS A DUMPSTER
 ON-SITE. PLEASE PROVIDE WRITTEN VERIFICATION FROM THE
 SANITATION DEPARTMENT THAT NO DUMPSTER IS REQUIRED.
  
 4) REPEAT COMMENT - PROVIDE VERIFICATION THAT THE
 LIGHTING WILL INCLUDE SHIELDING TO PREVENT GLARE INTO
 THE 25TH STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY.
  
 5) REPEAT COMMENT - THE SITE PLAN DOES NOT SHOW THE
 PROVISION OF A/C EQUIPMENT, YET THE MECHANICAL AND
 ELECTRIC PLANS SHOW GROUND MOUNTED CONDENSING UNITS.
 ADDITIONALLY, THERE APPEARS TO BE A MINI SPLIT UNIT
 THAT IS LABELED AS CU-1 ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE
 BUILDING WHICH IS NOT SHOWN ON THE ELEVATIONS AND
 APPEARS TO IMPEDE THE ADA PARKING AISLE. THE NMUD
 REGULATIONS REQUIRE THAT MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT BE
 SCREENED FROM VIEW BY LANDSCAPING OR BUILT ELEMENTS
 DESIGN AS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE BUILDING
 ARCHITECTURE. THIS NEEDS TO BE REFLECTED ON THE PLANS.
  
 6) THE WIDOWS WERE INCLUDED ON AN EARLIER PERMIT THAT
 EXPIRED AND IS NOW BEING REACTIVATED BY THIS PERMIT, SO
 PLEASE INCLUDE SHEET A-3.1 WHICH VERIFIED THAT THE
 GLAZING REQUIREMENTS WERE MET.
  
 7) PLEASE NOTE THAT COMMENTS NO. 1 AND 2., THE
 ADDITIONAL PERMITS, WILL BE INCLUDED AS A CONDITIONAL
 PERMIT IF THEY ARE NOT SUBMITTED PRIOR TO THE
 RESUBMITTAL TO ADDRESS THE OUTSTANDING COMMENTS LISTED
 ABOVE. THE CONDITIONAL PERMIT WOULD NEED TO BE
 SATISFIED PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF A CERTIFICATE OF
 OCCUPANCY/CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION ON THIS PERMIT.
 STAFF HOPES THAT THE REQUIRED PERMITS ARE SUBMITTED
 PRIOR TO THE RESUBMITTAL SO THAT NO CONDITIONAL PERMIT
 IS REQUIRED.
