 SPECIFY THE FINISHED FLOOR ELEVATION OF THE GARAGE ON
 THE PLANS TO SHOW THAT IT MEETS THE REQUIRED MINIMUM
 BASE FLOOD ELEVATION OF 7' 6". FBC R323.1 AND WPB
 MUNICIPAL CODE, FLOOD ORDINANCE
  
 2) SPECIFY THE DESIGN CRITERIA ON THE PLANS. FBC R

 3) SPECIFY THE COMPONENT AND CLADDING PRESSURE FOR THE
 OVERHEAD GARAGE DOOR ON THE PLANS. FBC R301.2.1
  
 4) IN ADDITION TO BEING LOCATED IN EXPOSURE CATEGORY C
 THE PROPOSED ADDITION IS LOCATED WITHIN 600 FEET OF THE
 INTER-COASTAL WATERWAY. FBC R301.2.1.4.3 (2) REQUIRES
 THE ROOF SHEATHING UPLIFT AND ROOF TO WALL UPLIFT LOADS
 TO BE INCREASED BY 20 PERCENT. SHOW COMPLIANCE.
  
 5) PROVIDE A ROOF SHEATHING FASTENING DIAGRAM. SEE FBC
 R803.2.3.1 AND FIGURE R803.2.3.1.
  
 6) PROVIDE A BUCK DETAIL FOR THE OVERHEAD GARAGE DOOR.

 7) PROVIDE A GABLE END BRACING DETAIL. FBC R609.4
  
 8) THE MASONRY WALLS DO NOT HAVE ADEQUATE VERTICAL
 REINFORCEMENT. PLEASE CORRECT. FBC R609.3
  
 9) SPECIFY THE SPACING OF THE DOWELS WHERE THE NEW
 CONCRETE SLAB ABUTS THE EXISTING SLAB. CITY AMENDMENTS
 106.1.1
  
 10) SPECIFY THE SPACING OF THE ROOF TRUSSES ON THE
 PLANS.
  
 11) SPECIFY THE ROOF TRUSS UPLIFTS AND TRUSS ANCHORS
 THAT WILL BE USED ON THE PLANS. FBC R802.1.6.5
  
 12) THE TIE BEAM AT THE 8' WIDE GARAGE DOOR OPENING IS
 SPECIFIED AS 8" X 10" ON SHEET 3. THIS IS NOT
 SUFFICIENT. SEE FBC 609.6.2 MINIMUM 8" X 12" BEAM
 REQUIRED. ADDITIONAL REINFORCEMENT MAY BE REQUIRED FOR
 140 MPH IN EXPOSURE CATEGORY C.
  
 13) SPECIFY THE SIZES OF THE CONCRETE WALL COLUMNS
 SHOWN ON THE PLANS. CITY AMENDMENTS 106.1.1
  
 14) SPECIFY THE TOP OF BEAM ELEVATION ON THE PLANS.

 16) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC R313.2.1 FOR SMOKE ALARM
 REQUIREMENTS.
  
 17) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC R309.2 FOR THE REQUIRED
 SEPARATION BETWEEN THE GARAGE AND THE RESIDENCE AND ITS
 ATTIC AREA BY NOT LESS THAN 1/2" GYPSUM BOARD APPLIED
 TO THE GARAGE SIDE.
  
 18) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC R309.3 FOR SLOPING THE
 GARAGE FLOOR TOWARD THE MAIN VEHICLE ENTRY DOORWAY.
  
 19) PLEASE PROVIDE A RESPONSE LETTER WITH THE
 RESUBMITTED PLANS INDICATING HOW EACH OF THE REVIEW
 COMMENTS HAS BEEN ADDRESSED.
