 COMMENTS.
 2007 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE WITH 2009 REVISIONS.
  
 1- THIS PROPERTY IS LOCATED ON FLOOD ZONE A5 WITH A
 BASE FLOOD ELEVATION OF 7'-0". NEW CONSTRUCTION NEEDS
 TO HAVE A FINISH FLOOR ELEVATION AT LEAST 6" ABOVE THE
 BASE FLOOD ELEVATION. IN ADDITION, IF THE EXISTING
 HOUSE FINISH FLOOR ELEVATION IS LESS THAN 7'-6", THEN
 THE HOUSE NEEDS TO BE RAISED TO MEET THE MINIMUM FINISH
 FLOOR ELEVATION REQUIRED BY SEC. 94-546(B)(1) OF THE
 CITY FLOOD MANAGEMENT POLICY. PLEASE PROVIDE SURVEY
 SHOWING THE EXISTING FINISH FLOOR ELEVATION.
  
 2- PLEASE BRING REVISED PLANS TO THE PALM BEACH COUNTY
 BUILDING (2300 N. JOG RD. TEL. (561)233-5120) TO VERIFY
 IF IMPACT FEES ARE DUE. BRING BACK STAMPED PLANS AND
 COPY OF PAID RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE.
  
 3- PLEASE PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. N1100.3
  
 4- PLEASE PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVALS (2 COPIES) AS

 B) WINDOW MULLIONS. NOA 10-0819.05 SUBMITTED WAS
 SUPERSEDED BY MIAMI-DADE ALSO. PROVIDE CURRENT NOA.
 C) CONCRETE TILE AS SHOWN ON PLANS. PRODUCT APPROVAL
 FL12076-R1 SUBMITTED IS FOR METAL ROOFING.
 D) IF USING FOAM FOR CONCRETE TILE, THEN PROVIDE
 PRODUCT APPROVAL. SEE LISTED FOAM ON CONCRETE TILE
 PRODUCT APPROVAL.
 E) FLAT ROOF FOR ROOF ABOVE FLORIDA ROOM AND COVERED
 PATIO. CONCRETE TILE CAN'T BE INSTALLED ON LOW ROOF
 SLOP. SEE TILE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR MINIMUM ROOF SLOPE.
 AND, PROVIDE RAS 117 CALCULATIONS FOR NAIL ENHANCING AT
 PERIMETER AND CORNER AREAS. IF PRODUCT APPROVAL
 REQUIRES SIGNED AND SEALED RAS 117 CALCULATIONS, THEN,
 PROVIDE SIGNED AND SEALED CALCULATIONS.
 F) ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED ON PLANS
 AND DETAILS. PLEASE PROVIDE ONLY THE FLORIDA PRODUCT
 APPROVAL COVER PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING THE CONNECTOR.
 THIS APPLIES TO STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS ONLY.
  
 5- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS PRIOR
 TO SUBMITTAL TO THIS OFFICE. SEC. 106.3.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 6- SHEET #1:
 A) WIND DESIGN INFORMATION: (1) CLARIFY WHY INTERNAL
 PRESSURE COEFFICIENT IS NOT APPLICABLE. (2) CLARIFY WHY
 SHEAR WALL ARE NOT REQUIRED.
 B) COMPONENTS AND CLADDING PRESSURES TABLE NEEDS TO BE
 REVISED. NEED CALCULATIONS THAT CORRESPOND TO EXPOSURE
 "C". CALCULATIONS SHOWN ARE FOR EXPOSURE "B". ENGINEER
 TO PROVIDE THE CALCULATIONS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 106.1.2
 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
 C) DIMENSIONS SHOWN ON THE SITE PLAN ARE TOO SMALL.
 THEY ARE NOT LEGIBLE. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
 D) TYPICAL INFILL WALL SECTION: (1) NEED TO PROVIDE 2
 LAYERS OF APPROVED WATER-RESISTANT BARRIER MATERIAL AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R703.6.3. SPECIFY THE 2 LAYERS ON THE
 WALL SECTION. (2) WALL SECTION IS SHOWING THE STUCCO
 FINISH BELOW FINISH GRADE. THIS IS NOT ALLOWED. NEED 6"
 MIN. CLEARANCE FROM FINISH GRADE TO STUCCO. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED. SEC. R704.
  
 7- SHEET #2:
 A) WINDOWS 24SH AND 34SH SPECIFIED FOR THE BEDROOMS
 DON'T COMPLY WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R310.
 THEY DON'T PROVIDE THE MINIMUM CLEAR HEIGHT OPENING
 REQUIRED. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
 B) DOOR LEADING FROM THE GARAGE TO THE FLORIDA ROOM IS
 NOT ALLOWED. REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. R309.1.
  
 8- SHEET #3:
 A) PROPOSED ROOF PLAN: PROVIDE COMPLETE TRUSS ANCHOR
 SCHEDULE. SPECIFY ALL CONNECTORS FOR ROOF TRUSSES, AND
 2X ROOF JOISTS, AND FOR NEW ENTRY ROOF FRAMING MEMBERS
 TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE DESIGN PRESSURES OF SEC.
 R301.2.1.4.3.
 B) PROVIDE COMPLETE GABLE END DETAIL SHOWING COMPLIANCE
 WITH SEC. R609.4.
