 SCOPE: CHANGE OF USE FROM MERCANTILE TO ASSEMBLY
 OCCUPANCY
  
 PER NFPA 101 PLANS FOR THE EXPOSITION (SPECIAL EVENT,
 CONCERT, SHOW, ETC.) SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE
 AUTHORITY HAVING JURISDICTION FOR APPROVAL PRIOR TO THE
 SETTING UP ANY EVENT. THE PLANS SHALL SHOW ALL DETAILS
 OF THE PROPOSED EXPOSITION. NO EXPOSITION SHALL OCCUPY
 ANY EXPOSITION FACILITY WITHOUT APPROVED PLANS.
  
 SHEET A-1 STILL INDICATES THIS SPACE TO BE A MERCANTILE
 OCCUPANCY IN LIEU OF AN ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCY.
  
 SHEET A-1 INDICATES CLASS C INTERIOR WALL AND CEILING
 FINISHES. FOR OCCUPANT LOADS GREATER THAN 300 PERSONS,
 INTERIOR WALL AND CEILING FINISHES SHALL BE CLASS A OR
 CLASS B.
  
 THE TWO SETS OF DOUBLE EXIT DOORS (WEST WALL) NEED TO
 BE INCLUDED IN THE SCOPE OF WORK AND OVERALL PROJECT
 VALUE. SUBMIT DOOR AND HARDWARE INFORMATION. NOTE:
 THESE UNPERMITTED DOORS WERE RECENTLY INSTALLED AND
 NEED TO BE INSPECTED, TESTED AND APPROVED.
  
 THE DOUBLE EXIT DOORS (SOUTHWEST) NEED TO BE INCLUDED
 IN THE SCOPE OF WORK AND OVERALL PROJECT VALUE. SUBMIT
 DOOR AND HARDWARE INFORMATION.
  
 THE EXISTING STANDARD RESPONSE FIRE SPRINKLERS NEED TO
 BE REPLACED WITH QUICK RESPONSE SPRINKLERS. EXISTING
 SPRINKLER PERMIT #11080365 NEEDS TO HAVE SCOPE AND JOB
 VALUE REVISED TO REFLECT THIS CHANGE.
  
 THE OCCUPANT LOAD ON SHEET A-2 IS BASED UPON 5 SQUARE
 FEET PER PERSON. THE OCCUPANT LOAD SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE
 PERSON PER SEVEN SQUARE FEET WHEN AREAS ARE LARGER THAN
 10,000 SQUARE FEET.
  
 NORTHWEST STORAGE ROOM SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH A DOOR TO
 SEPARATE THE STORAGE OCCUPANCY FROM THE ASSEMBLY
 OCCUPANCY.
  
 DEAD-END CORRIDOR (PLAN NORTH) SHALL NOT EXCEED 20
 FEET.
  
 PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND DETAILS FOR THE
 20X30 FOOT STAGE.
  
 ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCIES SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH A MINIMUM
 OF ONE TRAINED CROWD MANAGER FOR EVERY 250 OCCUPANTS.
  
 POST PERMANENT NO SMOKING SIGNS.
  
 PROVIDE TACTILE SIGNAGE AT ALL REQUIRED EXIT DOORS WITH
 EXIT SIGNS.
  
 EVERY ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCY ROOM NOT HAVING FIXED SEATS
 SHALL HAVE THE OCCUPANT LOAD OF THE ROOM POSTED IN A
 CONSPICUOUS PLACE NEAR THE MAIN EXIT FROM THE ROOM.
 SIGNS SHALL BE DURABLE AND INDICATE THE NUMBER OF
 OCCUPANTS PERMITTED FOR EACH ROOM.
  
 FOR OCCUPANCIES WITH AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 100 OR MORE
 PERSONS, PANIC HARDWARE SHALL BE PROVIDED ON DOORS TO
 RELEASE THE LOCK/LATCH. NO OTHER LOCKS OR LATCHES ARE
 PERMITTED THAT WOULD NOT BE RELEASED BY THE PANIC
 HARDWARE.
  
 PENETRATIONS THROUGH A FIRE-RATED WALL ASSEMBLY SHALL
 BE PROTECTED BY A FIRESTOP SYSTEM OR DEVICE. PROVIDE
 DETAILS.
  
 PROVIDE EMERGENCY LIGHTING IN ALL RESTROOMS.
  
 NO ELECTRICAL WIRING PLAN SUBMITTED SHOWING POWER TO
 ALL EXIT SIGNS.
  
 FIRE ALARM SYSTEM SHALL BE UL (OR OTHER APPROVED
 AGENCY) CERTIFIED FOR CENTRAL STATION SERVICE BY FINAL
 FIRE INSPECTION.
  
 EXTERIOR KEY SAFE CAN BE ORDERED FROM WWW.KNOXBOX.COM.
  
 THE PAVED DRIVE TO THE WEST NEEDS TO BE MARKED AND
 STRIPED - FIRE LANE NO PARKING. A SEPARATE PLAN AND
 PERMIT IS REQUIRED.
