 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 ACTION: DENIED
  
 1) THERE IS A HOLD ON THIS SUITE NUMBER, REQUIRING A
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY FROM MERCANTILE TO ASSEMBLY. THERE
 IS A DISCREPANCY BETWEEN SHEET A1 & A2, A1 INDICATES
 THE OCCUPANCY AS MERCANTILE (RETAIL) AND SHEET A2 AS A
 A-3 OCCUPANCY. THE ACTUAL USAGE OF THE SPACE OR
 MULTIPLE USES OF THIS SPACE MUST BE KNOWN TO ACCURATELY
 PLACE THIS TENANCY IN THE CORRECT ASSEMBLY
 SUB-GROUPING. FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS REVIEW THE
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION WILL BE A A2 NOT THE A3 AS
 INDICATED BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD. THERE ARE TWO
 REASONS:
  
 1A) PERMIT # 11040096 WAS FOR CONSTRUCTING A JUICE BAR
 WITHIN A MERCANTILE OCCUPANCY THE JUICE BAR HAD A
 OCCUPANCY LOAD OF LESS THAN 50 SO IT WAS STILL
 CONSIDERED RETAIL OCCUPANCY JUST AS THE FURNATURE STORE
 PORTION OF THE TENANCY, SHEET A-5 INDICATED A FURNITURE
 PLAN CONSISTENT WITH THE RETAIL OCCUPANCY. WITH THE
 DECLARED USE ON SHEET A2 OF
 A A3 OCCUPANCY WITH FOOD & DRINK THAT IS WHAT BUMPS
 THIS INTO THE A2 CATEGORY JUST AS A DANCE HALL THAT HAS
 FOOD & DRINK CONSUMPTION ON SITE.
  
 1B) CURRENTLY THE PERMIT APPLICATION APPLIED FOR IS FOR
 ONLY NEW RESTROOMS, NOT FOR A CHANGE OF USE WHICH WILL
 REQUIRE A NEW CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY. THE LESSEE
 SHALL DECIDE HOW THEY WANT TO PROCEED IN GAINING CODE
 COMPLIANCE. EITHER THE CURRENT GENERAL CONTRACTOR CAN
 CHANGE THE DESCRIPTION OF WORK ON THE PERMIT
 APPLICATION UNDER THE DESCRIBE PROJECT IN DETAIL TO
 INCLUDE THE CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY AND INCLUDE THE
 ADDITIONAL WORK (INCREASED VALUE OF PROJECT) THAT WILL
 BE REQUIRED OR A SEPIRATE PERMIT CAN BE APPLIED FOR AS
 A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY AND THE ADDITIONAL WORK THAT WILL
 BE REQUIRED UNDER THAT PERMIT. IF THE TENANT WISHES TO
 GO THE ROUTE OF A SEPARATE PERMIT FOR THE CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY PLEASE NOTE THE HOLD WILL NOT LET THE PERMIT
 FOR THE RESTROOMS BE ISSUED UNTIL
 THE CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY PERMIT IS ISSUED.
  
 2) ) SHEET A-2 INDICATES A NEW 20?X 30? PLATFORM BUT NO
 DESIGN CRITERIA (HEIGHT- FBC-B 410.3.1.1.) AS TO
 MATERIALS (FBC-B 410.3 / 603.1 ALLOWABLE MATERIALS),

 ACCESSIBILITY ( 11-4.1.6(1)(K)(III) VERTICAL

 TABLES AND OR FURNITURE LAYOUT. PLEASE PROVIDE THE
 FOLLOWING AS PART OF A MINIMUM COMMERCIAL PLAN

 5) ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS SHALL INCLUDE THE
 FOLLOWING:
 SITE REQUIREMENTS
 ACCESSIBLE ROUTE
 VERTICAL ACCESSIBILITY STAGE OR PLATFORM
 TOILET AND BATHING FACILITIES PLEASE REVIEW 11-4.22.4
 WHERE 6 OR MORE TOILET STALLS ARE PROVIDED
 SPECIAL OCCUPANCY REQUIREMENTS 11-4.33 (ASSEMBLY AREAS)
 & 11-5 (RESTAURANTS & CAFETERIAS).
 PROVIDE 20% DISPROPORTIONATE COST PER FBC-B 11-4.1.6(2)
 PROVIDE IN LETTER FORM WHERE THESE FUNDS WILL BE
 IMPLEMENTED IN THE ALTERATIONS.
  
 6) INTERIOR REQUIREMENTS SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
 INTERIOR FINISHES (FLAME SPREAD/SMOKE DEVELOPMENT)
 TABLE 803.5.
  
 7) BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAY BE ISSUED, IMPACT
 FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE ACTUAL
 PERMIT SET OF PLANS MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT OFFICE, AND
 A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT ATTACHED TO THE PERMIT
