 CREATE OR EXTEND ANY NONCONFORMITY IN THE EXISTING
 BUILDING TO WHICH THE ADDITION IS BEING MADE WITH
 REGARD TO ACCESSIBILITY, STRUCTURAL STRENGTH, FIRE
 SAFETY, MEANS OF EGRESS, OR THE CAPACITY OF MECHANICAL,

 903.2.1.2 GROUP A-2. AN AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM
 SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR GROUP A-2 OCCUPANCIES WHERE ONE
 OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS EXISTS:
  
 1. THE FIRE AREA EXCEEDS 5,000 SQUARE FEET (464.5 M2).
  
 2. THE FIRE AREA HAS AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 100 OR MORE.
  
 3. THE FIRE AREA IS LOCATED ON A FLOOR OTHER THAN THE
 LEVEL OF EXIT DISCHARGE.
  
 4. NIGHTCLUBS OR SIMILAR USAGE WHEN OCCUPANT LOAD IS
 100 OR MORE.
  
  
 2) PLANS INDICATE WIND PRESSURE BUT MISSING THE WIND
 DESIN CRITERIA: LOCATION IS AN EXPOSURE C WITH EXPOSURE
 AND HEIGHT FACTORS OF 1.29 FOR 20 FT ELEVATION.
 1603.1.4 WIND DESIGN DATA.
 THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION RELATED TO WIND LOADS SHALL
 BE SHOWN, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WIND LOADS GOVERN THE
 DESIGN OF THE LATERAL-FORCE-RESISTING SYSTEM OF THE
 BUILDING:
 1. BASIC WIND SPEED (3-SECOND GUST), MILES PER HOUR
 (KM/HR).
  
 2. WIND IMPORTANCE FACTOR, I W , AND BUILDING
 CLASSIFICATION FROM TABLE 1604.5 OR TABLE 6-1, ASCE 7

 UTILIZED, THE WIND EXPOSURE AND APPLICABLE WIND

 4. THE APPLICABLE ENCLOSURE CLASSIFICATIONS AND, IF
 DESIGNING WITH ASCE 7, INTERNAL PRESSURE COEFFICIENT.
  
 5. COMPONENTS AND CLADDING. THE DESIGN WIND PRESSURES
 IN TERMS OF PSF (KN/M 2 ) TO BE USED FOR THE SELECTION
 OF EXTERIOR COMPONENTS AND CLADDING MATERIALS NOT
 SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED BY THE REGISTERED DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL.
  
 3) SHEET A-2 INDICATES AN 8'-0" LONG RAMP WILL NEED TO
 COMPLY WITH:
  
 3A) 11-4.8.4.(2) LANDINGS. ALL LANDINGS ON RAMPS SHALL
 NOT BE LESS THAN 60" CLEAR, & THE BOTTOM OF EACH RAMP
 SHALL HAVE NOT LESS THAN 72" OF STRAIGHT &
 LEVEL CLEARANCE. MISSING THE BOTTOM LANDING.
  
 3B) 11-4.8.4(3) IF RAMPS CHANGE DIRECTION AT LANDINGS,
 THE MINIMUM LANDING SIZE SHALL BE 60" X 60".
  
 3C) 11.4.8.5. HANDRAILS: IF A RAMP HAS A RISE GREATER
 THAN 6" OR A HORIZONTAL PROJECTION GREATER THAN 72",
 THEN IT SHALL HAVE HANDRAILS ON BOTH SIDES.

 PROVIDE 2 COPIES OF PRODUCT TESTING REPORTS, MISSING

 5) 106.3.3 PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE

 APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO
 SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
  
 6) SHEET A-3 DETAIL # 4 DETAIL OF MANSARD TRUSS
 INDICATES A SIMPSON MET 18 STRAP TO TIE OFF THE TOP OF
 THE TRUSS BUT THERE IS NO ANCHORING SYSTEM FOR THE
 BOTTOM PARTION OF THE MANSARD TRUSS, HOW WILL THE
 UPLIFT, SLIDDING AND GRAVITY FORCES BE HANDED AT THIS
 POINT OF CONTACT, PART OF THE MAIN WIND FORCE RESISTING
 SYSTEM.
  
 7) THIS BUILDING IS DECLARED A TYPE II B STRUCTURE
 PLEASE REVIEW SECTION 603.1.3. IT WOULD APPEAR THE
 BUILDING COULD BE DESIGNED TO A LESSER BUILDING TYPE
 WITH AREA INCREASES AND IF SPRINKLERS ARE REQUIRED THE
 ADDTIONAL SQ FOOTAGE ALLOWED FOR SPRINKLERS.
  
 8) THE PLANS DO NOT CONSIDER THE ENERGY CODE, NO FORMS
 WERE SUBMITTED, 13-400.2.A.1 ADDITIONS.
  
 9) SHEET M1 INDICATES A ROOF TOP CURB DETAIL BUT WITH A
 CORRIGATED B TYPE METAL ROOF SYSTEM NOT A PRECAST
 HOLLOW CORE SYSTEM, PLEASE INDICATE THE CORRECT CURB
 ATTACHMENT.
  
 10) PLANS DO NOT ADDRESS ANY INTERIOR FINISHES FBC-B
 TABLE 803.5.
  
 11) BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAY BE ISSUED, IMPACT

 NOTE:
 THE FIRST COMMENT IS TO BE STRIKEN, THE EXISTING
 BUILDING CODE 1002.3 FIRE PROTECTION REFERS BACK TO
 THTE FBC-B REQUIRING FIRE SPRINKLER PROTECTION IF THE
 BUILDING NEEDS FIRE SPRINKLERS BECAUSSE OF THE
 ADDITIONAL SQUARE FOOTAGE BEING ADDED AND BEING OVER
 THE ALLOWABLE SQUARE FOOTAGE OF FBC-B TABLE 503/ A-2/
 TYPE II-B CONSTRUCTION ALLOWABLE AREA 9,500 SQUARE
 FEET. THIS BUILDING AND ADDITION IS SMALLER THAN THAT
 WHICH WILL QUALIFY THE BUILDING FOR NOT REQUIRING FIRE
 SPRINKLERS IN EITHER THE ADDITION NOR THE ORIGINAL
 BUILDING.
  
 THIS BUILDING ALSO IS NOT A CHANGE IN OCCUPANCY WHICH
 WOULD HAVE TRIGGERED THE THE REQUIREMENT OF FIRE
 SPRINKLERS UNDER THE EXISTING BUILDING CODE. NO FIRE
 SPRINKLERS REQUIRED UNDER 2007/09 EXISTING BUILDING
