 REQUIRED RECEPTACLES WITH AFCI PROTECTION, GFCI
 PROTECTION AND TAMPER RESISTANT AS APPROPRIATE FOR THE
 INTENDED USE. RECEPTACLES SHALL BE SPACED SO THAT AT NO
 POINT ALONG THE FLOOR IN ANY WALL IS MORE THAN 6 FEET
 FROM A RECEPTACLE OUTLET. THE NEW LIVING AREA REQUIRES
 A SWITCHED RECEPTACLE OR LIGHT AND A SWITCHED LIGHT AT
 OUTSIDE ENTRANCES. AT LEAST ONE GFCI PROTECTED
 RECEPTACLE IS REQUIRED OUTSIDE AT THE FRONT AND REAR OF
 THE RESIDENCE.
  
 PROVIDE A ONE LINE ELECTRICAL SERVICE RISER DIAGRAM
 SHOWING THE SIZE OF THE EXISTING ELECTRIC SERVICE. SHOW
 LOCATION OF EXISTING ELECTRICAL PANEL.
  
 REMODELING OF AN EXISTING STRUCTURE IS REQUIRED TO
 INCLUDE INTERCONNECTED SMOKE DETECTORS IF THEY DO NOT
 ALREADY EXIST WITHIN THE RESIDENCE. IF THE RESIDENCE
 HAS GAS APPLIANCES, AN ATTACHED GARAGE OR A FIRE PLACE
 A CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR IS REQUIRED WITHIN TEN FEET
 OF EACH ROOM USED FOR SLEEPING.
