 PROJECT WAS DESIGNED TOO, INCLUDING THE EXISTING
 BUILDING CODE, THIS IS A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY FROM THE
 LAST KNOWN USAGE INCATING THE 2007/ 09 FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE CHAPTER 9 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY. PROVIDE TYPE OF
 OCCUPANCY.
  
  
  
 901.3 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION. WHERE THE
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OF A BUILDING CHANGES, THE
 PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS 902 THROUGH 912 SHALL APPLY.
 THIS INCLUDES A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION
 WITHIN A GROUP AS WELL AS A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION FROM ONE GROUP TO A DIFFERENT GROUP.
  
 903.1 GENERAL. BUILDING ELEMENTS AND MATERIALS IN
 PORTIONS OF BUILDINGS UNDERGOING A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 912.
  
 1B) 2007/09 EXISTING BUILDING CODE SECTION 906
 ACCESSIBILITY 906.1 GENERAL. ACCESSIBILITY IN PORTIONS
 OF BUILDINGS UNDERGOING A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION SHALL COMPLY WITH CHAPTER 11 OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING .
 912.8 ACCESSIBILITY. EXISTING BUILDINGS OR PORTIONS
 THEREOF THAT UNDERGO A CHANGE OF GROUP OR OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION SHALL COMPLY WITH CHAPTER 11 OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 WHEN REMODELING A BUILDING THE ACCESSIBILITY CODE
 REQUIES AN ADDITIONAL 20% ( $65,000 X .20= $13,000.00)
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST TO BRING THE BUILDING UP TO THE
 CURRENT CODE FOR ACCESSIBILITY, 2007/09 FBC-B 11-4.1.6
 (2) INDICATES HOW THESE MONIES ARE TO BE SPENT SO THE
 BUILDING WILL MEET THE ACCESSIBILITY CODE THROUGH A
 SERIES OF ALTERATIONS.
  
 DUTY TO PROVIDE ACCESSIBLE FEATURES IN THE EVENT OF
 DISPROPORTIONALITY.
 (1) WHEN THE COST OF ALTERATIONS NECESSARY TO MAKE THE
 PATH OF TRAVEL TO THE ALTERED AREA FULLY ACCESSIBLE IS
 DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE COST OF THE OVERALL ALTERATION,
 THE PATH OF TRAVEL SHALL BE MADE ACCESSIBLE TO THE
 EXTENT THAT IT CAN BE MADE ACCESSIBLE WITHOUT INCURRING
 DISPROPORTIONATE COSTS.
  
 (2)(A) IN CHOOSING WHICH ACCESSIBLE ELEMENTS TO
 PROVIDE, PRIORITY SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THOSE ELEMENTS
 THAT WILL PROVIDE THE GREATEST ACCESS, IN THE FOLLOWING
 ORDER:
 (I) AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE;
 (II) AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO THE ALTERED AREA:
 (III) AT LEAST ONE ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM FOR EACH SEX OR
 A SINGLE UNISEX RESTROOM:
 (IV) ACCESSIBLE TELEPHONES;
 (V) ACCESSIBLE DRINKING FOUNTAINS; AND
 (VI) WHEN POSSIBLE, ADDITIONAL ACCESSIBLE ELEMENTS SUCH
 AS PARKING, STORAGE, AND ALARMS.
  
 PLEASE SEE THE ENTRANCE INDICATES A RAMP WITH NO BOTTOM
 LANDING. 11-4.8.4.(2) LANDINGS. ALL LANDINGS ON RAMPS
 SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 60" CLEAR, & THE BOTTOM OF EACH
 RAMP SHALL HAVE NOT LESS THAN 72" OF STRAIGHT & LEVEL
 CLEARENCE.
  
 1C) PLANS DO NOT PROVIDE DETAILS FOR THE BREAK ROOM
 SINK, SHALL COMPLY WITH:
 11-4.24.2 HEIGHT. SINKS SHALL BE MOUNTED WITH THE
 COUNTER OR RIM NO HIGHER THAN 34" ABOVE THE FINISH
 FLOOR.
 11-4.24.3 KNEE CLEARANCE THAT IS AT LEAST 27" HIGH 30"
 WIDE, AND 19" DEEP SHALL BE PROVIDED UNDERNEATH SINKS.
 11-4.24.5 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE. A CLEAR FLOOR SPACE AT
 LEAST 30 INCHES BY 48 INCHES (760 MM BY 1219 MM)
 COMPLYING WITH SECTION 11-4.2.4 SHALL BE PROVIDED IN
 FRONT OF A SINK TO ALLOW FORWARD APPROACH. THE CLEAR
 FLOOR SPACE SHALL BE ON AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE AND SHALL
 EXTEND A MAXIMUM OF 19 INCHES (485 MM) UNDERNEATH THE
 SINK.
  
 1D) THE PLANS DO NOT INDICATE WHAT YPE OF HARDWARE IS
 TO BE INSTALLED ON THE FRONT DOUBLE DOORS. PLEASE BE A
 WARE OF :
 1008.1.8.4 BOLT LOCKS. MANUALLY OPERATED FLUSH BOLTS OR
 SURFACE BOLTS ARE NOT PERMITTED. ALL HARDWARE MUST BE
 DIRECT ACTING REQUIRING NO MORE THAN ONE OPERATION.
 DOUBLE CYLINDER DEAD BOLTS, REQUIRING A KEY FOR
 OPERATION ON BOTH SIDES, ARE PROHIBITED ON REQUIRED
 MEANS OF EGRESS DOORS UNLESS THE LOCKING DEVICE IS
 PROVIDED WITH A KEY WHICH CANNOT BE REMOVED WHEN THE
 DOOR IS LOCKED FROM THE INSIDE. ONLY ONE LOCKING OR
 LATCHING DEVICE SHALL BE PERMITTED ON A DOOR OR ON ONE
 LEAF OF A PAIR OF DOORS.

 2A) 907.2 WIND LOADS. BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES SUBJECT
 TO A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY WHERE SUCH CHANGE IN THE
 NATURE OF OCCUPANCY RESULTS IN HIGHER WIND IMPORTANCE
 FACTORS BASED ON THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING
 TABLE 1604.5, (HIGH -VELOCITY HURRICANE ZONES SHALL
 COMPLY WITH TABLE 1615.2) SHALL BE ANALYZED AND SHALL
 COMPLY WITH THE APPLICABLE WIND LOAD PROVISIONS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING .
 NOTE NEW BUILDING ELEMENTS WINDOWS AND DOORS WILL NEED
 TO MEET TTHE WIND DESIGN CRITERIA OF FBC-B 1609,
 EXPOSURE "C" THE DESIGN PRESSURES
 WILL NEED TO REFLECT THE HEIGHT MULTIPLIERS FOR A "C"
 EXPOSURE, IT APPEAR THE PRESSURES ARE FOR A "B"
 EXPOSURE.
  
 2B) THE PLANS INDICATE A NEW FOORING AND KNEE WALL BUT
 DO NOT REFLECT INTO WHAT TYPE OF FRAMING THE TOP TRACK
 WILL ANCHOR. 2007/09 FBC-B
