 PLEASE RESPOND TO REVIEW COMMENTS IN WRITTEN FORMAT.
  
 1. PLEASE INDICATE HOW YOU ARRIVED AT THE 1526 SQUARE
 FEET OF OPEN SPACE. OPEN SPACE IS CALCULATED BY TAKING
 THE TOTAL LOT AREA AND DEDUCTING THE FOOTPRINT OF THE
 STRUCTURE. THE DIFFERENCE (INCLUDING DRIVEWAYS,
 WALKWAYS, ETC.) IS THE OPEN SPACE. IF THE CALCULATION
 PROVIDED IS NOT CORRECT, PLEASE UPDATE THE OTHER
 TABULATIONS.
  
 2. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-442 (D), PRIVATE LAND AND
 PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY BETWEEN STREET OR SIDEWALK
 SURFACES AND REQUIRED BUFFER STRIPS AND LANDSCAPED OPEN
 SPACE AREAS SHALL BE PLANTED WITH GRASS. GRASS AREAS
 SHALL BE SODDED. SEEDING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.
  
 3. TREES IN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY CANNOT BE COUNTED TOWARD
 MEETING THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS.
  
 4. TREES SHALL BE PLANTED AT OR SLIGHTLY ABOVE GRADE.
 THE THREE INCH LAYER OF MULCH SHALL BE PULLED BACK FROM
 THE ROOTBALL. NO MORE THAN A ONE INCH LAYER OF MULCH
 SHALL BE APPLIED OVER THE ROOTBALL.
  
 5. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-442 (C) PALM TREES MAY BE
 SUBSTITUTED FOR NOT MORE THAN 35 PERCENT OF THE SHADE
 OR FLOWERING TREES REQUIRED BY THIS ARTICLE.
  
 6. FIVE POINTS WERE TAKEN ON THE XERISCAPE DESIGN
 OPTIONS FOR UTILIZATION OF MOISTURE SENSING CONTROLLER
 OTHER THAN A RAIN SWITCH. PLEASE IDENTIFY THE EQUIPMENT
 TO BE USED TO MEET THIS REQUIREMENT.
  
 7. YOU MUST ABIDE BY FLO'S "PLANT THE RIGHT TREE IN THE
 RIGHT PLACE" GUIDELINES. THAT PUBLICATION INDICATES
 WHICH TREE SPECIES CAN BE PLANTED NEAR OR UNDER POWER
 LINES. THE TWO ROYAL PALMS EXISTING IN THE UTILITY
 EASEMENT SHOULD BE RELOCATED ELSEWHERE ON SITE.
  
 8. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-445 (4) (G) (3) (II), IN ALL
 AREAS THAT ARE TO BE PLANTED IN A CULTIVATED LANDSCAPE,
 IRRIGATION SYSTEMS SHALL BE DESIGNED TO HAVE 120
 PERCENT COVERAGE. THE ENTIRE YARD AND RIGHT-OF-WAY IS
 REQUIRED TO BE IRRIGATED.
