 PLEASE RESPOND TO REVIEW COMMENTS IN WRITTEN FORMAT.
  
 1. PLEASE APPLY FOR A SEPARATE LANDSCAPE PERMIT AND
 SUBMIT TWO (2) COPIES OF A LANDSCAPE PLAN, SIGNED AND
 SEALED BY A REGISTERED LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT. THE PLANS
 SHALL SHOW WHAT IS EXISTING AND PROPOSED. IN ADDITION,
 PLEASE INCLUDE A CERTIFIED COST ESTIMATE THAT INCLUDES
 THE TOTAL COST OF ALL LANDSCAPE MATERIALS AND LABOR,
 BROKEN DOWN INTO UNIT COST.
  
 2. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-444 (B), OUTDOOR GARBAGE OR
 TRASH RECEPTACLES SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED UNLESS
 APPROPRIATE SCREENING IS PROVIDED. SCREENING SHALL BE
 CONSTRUCTED OF BRICK, DECORATIVE CONCRETE, OTHER
 DECORATIVE MASONRY, OR COMPARABLY DURABLE WOOD AND
 STEEL.. WALLS SHALL BE LANDSCAPED WITH SHRUBS AND
 HEDGES PLANTED AT TWO-FOOT INTERVALS. A VISION
 OBSCURING GATE IS REQUIRED. PLEASE PROVIDE THE LOCATION
 OF THE GARBAGE CONTAINER OR DUMPSTER AND THE MANNER IN
 WHICH IT WILL BE SCREENED. A SEPARATE FENCE PERMIT WILL
 BE REQUIRED.
  
 3. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C). THE OWNER OF
 PROPERTY THAT CONTAINS VEHICULAR USE AREAS SHALL
 INSTALL AND MAINTAIN A LANDSCAPE BUFFER WHEN SUCH USES
 ARE VISIBLE FROM A PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE. A CONTINUOUS
 HEDGE AND AT LEAST ONE (1) SHADE OR FLOWERING TREE FOR
 EACH 30 LINEAR FEET IS REQUIRED. THIS APPLIES TO THE
 EAST PERIMETER OF THE SITE. THE PARKING STALLS THAT
 ABUT THAT BUFFER CAN BE REDUCED TO 18 FEET AND THE
 ACCESSWAY CAN BE REDUCED TO 24 FEET TO ACCOMMODATE THE
 LANDSCAPE BUFFER AND HANDICAP WALKWAY FROM THE STREET.
  
 4. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (3) (A), EACH ROW OF
 PARKING SPACES SHALL BE TERMINATED BY LANDSCAPED
 ISLANDS OF NOT LESS THAN FIVE (5) FEET IN WIDTH (INSIDE
 DIMENSION) AND NOT LESS THAN THE LENGTH OF THE ADJACENT
 PARKING STALL. THE LANDSCAPED ISLAND SHALL HAVE A
 MINIMUM RADIUS OF 2 1/2 FEET AT ITS END SO AS TO ALLOW
 CAR MANEUVERING. THE LANDSCAPED ISLAND SHALL CONTAIN AT
 LEAST ONE (1) SHADE OR FLOWERING TREE.
  
 5. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (5) (A), LANDSCAPE
 AREAS SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM VEHICULAR USE AREAS BY
 NONMOUNTABLE, CONCRETE CURBING OT THE TYPE
 CHARACTERIZED AS "TYPE D". THIS WOULD INCLUDE THE
 LANDSCAPE ISLANDS. THE LANDSCAPE ISLAND AT THE WEST END
 OF THE PARKING ROW ALONG THE NORTH PERIMETER SHOULD BE
 EXPANDED TO THW WEST BY ONE (1) FOOT, ALLOWING A 24
 FOOT TRAVEL AISLE.
  
 6. THE EXISTING TREES SHALL BE CORRECTIVELY PRUNED BY A
 CERTIFIED ARBORIST. THERE IS DEAD WOOD IN THESE TREES
 AND GENERALLY THESE TREES IN THEIR CURRENT CONDITION
 WOULD BE CONSIDERED HAZARDOUS.
  
 7. ALL EXISTING TREES, SHRUBS AND OTHER PLANT MATERIAL
 SHALL BE IN GOOD CONDIITON FOR THE FINAL INSPECTION OR
 REPLACEMENT MAY BE REQUIRED.
  
 8. IRRIGATION SHALL PROVIDE 120% COVERAGE TO ALL
 LANDSCAPED AREAS. PLEASE EITHER REPAIR THE EXISTING
 SYSTEM, IF ONE EXISTS, OR APPLY FOR AN IRRIGATION
 PERMIT AND INSTALL A NEW ONE.
