 PLEASE RESPOND TO REVIEW COMMENTS IN WRITTEN FORMAT.
  
 1. ADDRESS ZONING COMMENTS THAT APPLY TO LANDSCAPING.
  
 2. APPLY FOR A LANDSCAPE PERMIT AND PROVIDE TWO (2)
 COPIES OF A SIGNED AND SEALED LANDSCAPE PLAN THAT
 ADDRESSES THE ENTIRE PARKING LOT LOCATED AT THE
 NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE SITE. THE PLAN SHALL BE IN
 COMPLIANCE WITH SECTIONS 94-442 AND 94-445 OF THE ZLDR.
 PROVIDE A CERTIFIED COST ESTIMATE THAT INCLUDES THE
 TOTAL COST OF ALL LANDSCAPE MATERIALS AND LABOR, BROKEN
 DOWN INTO UNIT COST.
  
 3. AN IRRIGATION PERMIT WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED BECAUSE
 OF THE REQUIRED MODIFICATION TO THE EXISTING IRRIGATION
 SYSTEM.
  
 4. APPLY FOR A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT IF ANY EXISTING
 TREES WILL BE REMOVED. A COPY OF THE PERMIT APPLICATION
 IS AVAILABLE AT THE FRONT DESK OF THE PLANNING AND
 ZONING DEPARTMENT.
  
 5. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (3) (A), EACH ROW OF
 PARKING SPACES SHALL BE TERMINATED BY LANDSCAPE ISLANDS
 OF NOT LESS THAN FIVE FEET IN WIDTH AND NOT LESS THAN
 THE LENGTH OF THE ADJACENT PARKING STALL. THE
 LANDSCAPED ISLAND SHALL CONTAIN AT LEAST ONE SHADE OR
 FLOWERING TREE.
  
 6. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (3) (B), ONE INTERIOR
 LANDSCAPE ISLAND SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR EVERY TEN
 PARKING SPACES OR FRACTION THEREOF. ONE SHADE OF
 FLOWERING TREE IS REQUIRED IN EACH ISLAND.
  
 7. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (3) (C), IF DIVIDER
 MEDIANS ARE USED, THEY SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM WIDTH OF
 FIVE FEET AND SHALL HAVE SHADE OR FLOWERING TREES
 PLANTED AT 30 FOOT INTERVALS.
  
 8. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (5) (A), LANDSCAPE
 AREAS SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM VEHICULAR USE AREAS BY
 NONMOUNTABLE, CONCRETE CURBING OF THE TYPE
 CHARACTERIZED AS "TYPE D".
  
 9. ADDITIONAL LANDSCAPE COMMENTS WILL BE FORTHCOMING
 ONCE WE RECEIVE THE LANDSCAPE PLAN.
