 ELECTRIC LOCKS LOCATED IN THE ELEVATOR LOBBY TO BE FAIL
 SAFE WHEN FIRE ALARM IS ACTIVATED.
  
 SHEET A1.0 THE ELEVATOR LOBBY ROOM # 1900 IS INDICATED
 AS A ONE HOUR RATED WALL AS REQUIRED BY 708.1(5) AND
 708.3 FOR THE FIRE RESISTANCE RATING. THE ISSUE IS BOTH
 DOORS 1900A AND 1900B BOTH INDICATE ELECTRIC LOCKS WITH
 CARD READERS. IF THE FIRE ALARMS ARE ACTIVATED AND THE
 ELEVATORS ARE RECALLED DURING PHASE 1 ELEVATOR RECAL AS
 REQUIRED BY CHAPTER 30 ANY OCCUPANTS THAT WERE IN THE
 ELEVATOR LOBBY THAT DIDN'T HAVE CARD READERS WOULD BE
 STRANDED. FBC-B 707.14.1 ESTABLISHES THAT EVERY
 ELEVATOR LOBBY SHALL HAVE ACCESS TO AT LEAST ONE MEANS
 OF EGRESS; ENSURING THAT NO OCCUPANT IN A LOBBY IS LEFT
 ISOLATED FROM ESCAPE WHEN THE ELEVATORS ARE RECALLED
 DURING PHASE 1 ELEVATOR RECALL. ASME A17.1 SAFETY CODE
 FOR ELEVATOR
 DETAILS RECALL REQUIREMENTS, WHICH ARE ADOPTED BY
 REFRENCE IN CHAPTER 30.
  
 2) COMMONLY THE RESTROOMS ARE CONSIDERED COMMON AREA
 SINCE THEY ARE OUT OF THE LEASE LINE, IN THIS CASE THEY
 ARE LOCATED WITHIN THE TENANT SPACEDETAIL B/ A-2.1
 INDICATES AMBLATORY TYPE STALLS, (ALTERNATE STALL TYPE
 B), PLEASE REVIEW FIGURE 30-B IN REGARDS TO SIZE OF
 STALL, DOOR SWING AND DOOR CLEAR OPENING WIDTH. SINCE
 THTE RESTROOMS ARE NOW LOCATED WITHIN THE LEASE LINE,
 TECHNICALLY INFEASIBLE CAN NOT BE AN ISSUE AND
 11-4.1.6(2)(2)(A) DUTY TO PROVIDE ACCESSIBLE FEATURES.
