 1) SHEET A1 ORIGINAL DESSIGN DATA: IS INCORRECT, THE
 CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH NEVER ADOPTED THE SOTH FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, AT THTE TIME THIS BUILDING WAS
 CONSTRUCTED WE WERE UNDER THE SOUTHERN STANDARD
 BUILDING CODE. PLEASE UPDATE PLANS TO THE CURRENT
 DESIGN THAT THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IS DESIGNING TOO.
 2007 FBC- BUILDING WITH 2009 AMENDMENTS AND THE 2007
 EXISTING BUILDING CODE WITH 2009 SUPPLEMENTS. PLEASE
 PROVIE TO WHAT LEVEL THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL HAS
 ALTERED THIS FLOOR.
 2007 EXISTING BUILDING CODE- 401.4 A DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL OR AN OWNER MUST ELECT ONE OR A
 COMBINATION OF LEVELS OF ALTERATION PURSUANT TO
 SECTIONS 403, 404 AND 405 OF THIS CODE.
  
 2) THE MOVING OF THE ELEVATOR LOBBY DOORS IS CREATING A
 CONDITION OR VIOLATION OF THE CODE.
  
 FL EXIST BLD CODE 701.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
 707.14.1 ELEVATOR LOBBY. AN ENCLOSED ELEVATOR LOBBY
 SHALL BE PROVIDED AT EACH FLOOR WHERE AN ELEVATOR SHAFT
 ENCLOSURE CONNECTS MORE THAN THREE STORIES. THE LOBBY
 SHALL SEPARATE THE ELEVATOR SHAFT ENCLOSURE DOORS FROM
 EACH FLOOR BY FIRE PARTITIONS EQUAL TO THE
 FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING OF THE CORRIDOR AND THE REQUIRED
 OPENING PROTECTION. ELEVATOR LOBBIES SHALL HAVE AT
 LEAST ONE MEANS OF EGRESS COMPLYING WITH CHAPTER 10 AND
 OTHER PROVISIONS WITHIN THIS CODE. IN THE NEW
 RE-CONFIGURATION NONE OF THE TENANTS CAN REACH THE
 VERTICAL EXIT WITHOUT TRAVELING THROUGH THE ELEVATOR
 LOBBY. FL EXIST BLDG CODE 705.1 SCOPE. THE REQUIREMENTS
 OF THIS SECTION SHALL BE LIMITED TO WORK AREAS THAT
 INCLUDE EXITS OR CORRIDORS SHARED BY MORE THAN ONE
 TENANT WITHIN THE WORK AREA IN WHICH LEVEL 2
 ALTERATIONS ARE BEING PERFORMED, AND WHERE SPECIFIED
 THEY SHALL APPLY THROUGHOUT THE FLOOR ON WHICH THE WORK
 AREAS ARE LOCATED OR OTHERWISE BEYOND THE WORK AREA.
 705.2 GENERAL. THE MEANS OF EGRESS SHALL COMPLY WITH
 THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SECTION. EXCEPTIONS: 2. MEANS
 OF EGRESS CONFORMING TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING AND THE FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION
 CODE UNDER WHICH THE BUILDING WAS CONSTRUCTED SHALL BE
 CONSIDERED COMPLIANT MEANS OF EGRESS IF, IN THE OPINION
 OF THE CODE OFFICIAL, THEY DO NOT CONSTITUTE A DISTINCT
 HAZARD TO LIFE. UNDER THE 1985 SSBC ELEVATOR LOBBIES
 WERE REQUIRED AND THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WOULD REQUIRE
 ELEVATOR LOBBIES IF 50% OF THE FLOOR AREA WERE BEING
 ALTERED UNDER A LEVEL 2 ALTERATION PER 703.2.2 EXISTING
 BUILDING CODE.
  
 PLEASE NOTE THE ELEVATOR LOBBY DOORS COULD BE PUT ON
 MAGNETIC HOLD OPEN DOORS, AND IF POSITIONED TO ALLOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH BOTH 707.14.1 FBC-B AND TABLE 1019.1
 AND TABLE 1019.2
 REQUIRING THE 9TH FLOOR TO HAVE ACCESS TO TWO VERTICAL
 EXITS FOR ALL TENANTS, AND ONE TRAVEL TO ONE EXIT WOULD
 BE NOT THROUGH THE ELEVATOR LOBBY.
  
 3) SHEET D-1 SECTION D WOOD BLOCKING WITHIN INTERIOR
 WALLS SHALL BE FIRE RETARDANT TREATED WOOD. FBC-B
 603.1(1.1).
