 FOR A DISTANCE OF AT LEAST 2600 FEET, EXCEPTION REDUCES
 THIS REQUIREMENT TO 1500 FEET.
  
 FBC1609.4, EXPOSURE CATEGORY. FOR EACH WIND DIRECTION
 CONSIDERED, AN EXPOSURE CATEGORY THAT ADEQUATELY
 REFLECTS THE CHARACTERISTICS OF GROUND SURFACE
 IRREGULARITIES SHALL BE DETERMINED FOR THE SITE AT
 WHICH THE BUILDING OR STRUCTURE IS TO BE CONSTRUCTED.
 ACCOUNT SHALL BE TAKEN OF VARIATIONS IN GROUND SURFACE
 ROUGHNESS THAT ARISE FROM NATURAL TOPOGRAPHY AND
 VEGETATION AS WELL AS FROM CONSTRUCTED FEATURES. (ALSO

 AREAS OR OTHER TERRAIN WITH NUMEROUS CLOSELY SPACED
 OBSTRUCTIONS HAVING THE SIZE OF SINGLE FAMILY DWELLINGS
 OR LARGER. BASED ON AERIALS, WHICH ARE NOT CURRENT,
 THERE ARE MANY OPEN AREAS IN SEVERAL SECTORS. A CURRENT
 SITE PLAN WOULD BE REQUIRED FOR EVALUATION.
  
 REGARDING THE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER'S LETTER STATING THAT
 HE DESIGNED AN OFFICE BUILDING SEVERAL YEARS AGO AND
 USED EXPOSURE B IS NOTED. HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE THAT THE
 CODE CHANGED MARCH 1, 2009, AND THE EXPOSURE
 CLASSIFICATIONS WERE CHANGED SIGNIFICANTLY. BUILDINGS
 APPLIED FOR PERMIT PRIOR TO MARCH 1, 2009 WOULD BE
 GOVERNED UNDER FBC2004.
  
 REGARDING ARCHITECT'S LETTER, PLEASE SEE ABOVE CODE
 REFERENCES, AND PROVIDE A SITE PLAN WHICH SHOWS 1500
 FEET OF CLOSELY SPACED OBSTRUCTIONS HAVING THE SIZE OF
 SINGLE FAMILY DWELLINGS OR LARGER AS THE AERIALS WHICH
 ARE AVAILABLE ARE NOT CURRENT.

 THE PLAN SHOWS TWO WINDOWS IN THE OUTSIDE WALL, IS THIS
 CORRECT? ARE THE WINDOWS HIGHER THAN 7FEET? WOULDN'T
 SHIELDING BE REQUIRED AT THE OPENINGS IN THE BLOCK?
