 ONTO THE EXISTING FLAT ROOF.

 A NOTE ON THE PLAN STATING THAT THIS IS NOT REQUIRED
 DUE TO THE LIVE LOAD DESIGN OF THE ROOF DECK. THIS DOES
 NOT ADDRESS OTHER ISSUES RELATED TO STANDING WATER; FOR
 INSTANCE (ONE EXAMPLE), HAS THE ROOF ASSEMBLY BEEN
 DESIGNED TO HOLD STANDING WATER FOR A PROLONGED PERIOD
 OF TIME? HOW DOES STANDING WATER AFFECT THE MECHANICAL
 EQUIPMENT CURBS? THERE IS NO EXCEPTION IN THE FBC
 REGARDING OVERFLOW DRAINS OR SCUPPERS.
  
 11. SEE FBC435 AND SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH ALL
 REQUIREMENTS.
  
 12. A2.0, PLAN STATES THAT SHIELDING IS NOT REQUIRED.
 SEE FBC435.5.1.1 AND FBC435.5.1.2.
