 LEVEL 2 ALTERATION
  
 DENIED BY BUILDING
  
 1) INDICATE THE SUITE OR UNIT NUMBER ON THE PLANS AND
 APPLICATION.
  
 2) SPECIFY THE LEVEL OF ALTERATION PER 2007 FBC
 EXISTING BUILDING ON THE PLANS.
  
 3) SPECIFY THE TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION BASED ON THE 2007
 FBC DESIGNATIONS AS LISTED IN TABLE 602. TYPE IV
 CONSTRUCTION WHICH IS STATED ON THE PLANS IS HEAVY
 TIMBER CONSTRUCTION IN THIS TABLE. PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 4) PLEASE SEE TABLE 601 IN THE 2007 FBC FOR THE
 REQUIRED FIRE RESISTANCE RATINGS FOR BUILDING ELEMENTS.
 ALSO PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CODE NO LONGER USES THE ONE
 HOUR PROTECTED DESIGNATION. INSTEAD USING THE LETTERS A
 OR B AFTER THE CONSTRUCTION TYPE, WITH THE A BEING
 SIMILAR TO ONE HOUR PROTECTED.
  
 5) PROVIDE A LIFE SAFETY PLAN FOR THE ALTERED AREA.
 SPECIFY TRAVEL DISTANCES, COMMON PATHS OF TRAVEL, SHOW
 EXIT SIGNS, FIRE EXTINGUISHER LOCATIONS, ETC.
  
 6) SUBMIT A FIRE SPRINKLER PLAN.
  
 7) SPECIFY THE AMOUNT AND TYPES OF HAZARDOUS
 MATERIALS/CHEMICALS THAT WILL BE STORED AND USED IN THE
 BICARB AND WATER TREATMENT ROOMS. SUBMIT MATERIAL
 SAFETY DATA SHEETS FOR ALL HAZARDOUS MATERIALS. SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH 2007 FBC SECTIONS 307, 414 AND 415 AS
 APPLICABLE.
  
 8) INDICATE THE USE FOR THE ROOM WHICH HAS DOOR 27 THAT
 IS BEING BLOCKED BY WHEEL CHAIR STORAGE. CLARIFY WHY IS
 THIS DOOR IS BEING BLOCKED.
  
 9) SUBMIT PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE NEW EXTERIOR DOORS
 AS REQUIRED BY DCA RULE 9B-72. THE DESIGNER OF RECORD
 IS REQUIRED TO REVIEW AND APPROVE THE PRODUCT APPROVALS
 IN WRITING.
  
 10) SPECIFY THE REQUIRED COMPONENT AND CLADDING WIND
 LOAD PRESSURES ON THE PLANS FOR THE NEW EXTERIOR DOORS.

 18) THE HANDRAIL DETAILS FOR THE STAIRS ON SHEET A-3C
 DO NOT COMPLY WITH FBC 11-4.9.4 (2).
  
 19) PROVIDE DETAILS OF EXTERIOR STAIRS SHOWING
 COMPLIANCE WITH FBC 11-4.9.
  
 20) FBC 11-4.8.5(2) REQUIRES HANDRAILS ON RAMPS THAT
 ARE NOT CONTINUOUS TO EXTEND 18" BEYOND THE SLOPE
 SEGMENT AND BE PARALLEL TO THE FLOOR OR GROUND SURFACE.

 21) PROVIDE A DETAIL FOR THE RAMP SHOWING ALL
 DIMENSIONS. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC 11-4.8.3 (FL
 SPECIFIC EXCEPTION) THAT REQUIRES RAMPS THAT ARE PART
 OF A MEANS OF EGRESS TO BE A MINIMUM OF 44" WIDE.
  
 22) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC 11-4.8.4 (2) (FL SPECIFIC)
 WHICH REQUIRES LANDINGS ON RAMPS TO BE NOT LESS THAN 60
 INCHES CLEAR AND THE BOTTOM OF THE RAMP TO HAVE NOT
 LESS THAN 72 INCHES OF STRAIGHT AND LEVEL CLEARANCE.
  
 23) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC 11-4.8.5 (1) HANDRAILS AT
 RAMP SEGMENTS ARE REQUIRED TO BE CONTINUOUS AND FBC
 11-4.8.7 REQUIRING EDGE PROTECTION FOR RAMPS AND
 LANDINGS WITH DROP OFFS.
  
 24) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC 11-4.8..6 WHICH REQUIRES
 THE CROSS SLOPE OF RAMP SURFACES TO BE NO MORE THAN
 1:50. CHECK THE ELEVATIONS ON C1 FOR CROSS SLOPES.
  
 25) THE PLANS ARE REQUIRED TO BE SEALED WITH THE
 ARCHITECT'S IMPRESSION TYPE SEAL PER FAC 61G1- 16.001.
  
 26) THE LICENSE NUMBER OF THE ARCHITECTURAL FIRM IS
 REQUIRED TO BE IN THE TITLE BLOCK PER 61G1-16.004.
  
 27) PLEASE RESPOND TO REVIEW COMMENTS IN WRITING
 INDICATING HOW THE COMMENTS WERE ADDRESSED AND THE
