 I-1 OCCUPANCY IN NEED OF SUPERVISED RESIDENTIAL
 ASSISTANCE VERSES A I-2 MEDICAL ASSISTANCE (NOT CAPABLE
 OF SELF-PRESERVATION). IT WOULD APPEAR TOUGHS IN NEED
 OF HOSPICE HELP WOULD BE IN NEED OF MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
 PLACING THE BUILDING IN A I-2 OCCUPANCY, PLEASE CORRECT
 PLANS. THIS REVIEW WILL WITH THE COMMENTS OF A I-2
 REVIEW.
  
 2) SHEET LS-1 INDICATES A SMOKE TIGHT TYPE WALL. PLEASE
 USE CODE TERMINOLOGY, SECTION 709 SMOKE BARRIERS AND
 710 FOR SMOKE PARTITIONS. PLEASE IDENTIFY THE RATINGS
 AS INDICATED NOT JUST A SMOKE TIGHT WALL.
  
 3) THE SECOND ISSUE WITH THIS REVIEW WILL BE ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION WILL BE REQUIRED. SHEET LS-1 ALSO INDICATES
 THIS BUILDING AS A MIXED OCCUPANCY WITH A A-2 OCCUPANCY
 THE PLANS DO NOT INDICATE WHERE A RESTAURANT OR SIMILAR
 USAGE OCCURS. JUST INSIDE THE MAIN ENTRY IT APPEARS
 THERE IS A LARGE LOBBY OR WAITING ROOM. SHEET LS-1 AND
 A-4 DO INDICATE A INTEGRATED THERAPY BEREAVEMENT OFFICE
 THE QUESTION IS WOULD THESE WALLS REQUIRE EITHER A
 SMOKE OR FIRE RATING?
  
 3A) IS THIS LOBBY AREA A A-3 OCCUPANCY, TABLE 508.3.3
 WOULD REQUIRE A 1 HR SEPARATION WHEREAS:
  
 3B) IF THIS LOBBY AREA IS TO BE CONSIDERED A SPACE OF
 UNLIMITED AREA AS PER SECTION 407.2.1.
 THE ISSUE HERE IS 407.2.1(1) THE SPACES ARE NOT
 OCCUPIED FOR PATIENT SLEEPING UNITS, TREATMENT ROOMS,
 HAZARDOUS OR INCIDENTAL USE AREAS AS DEFINED IN SECTION
 508.2. THE INTEGRATED THERAPY BEREAVEMENT OFFICE WOULD
 NEED TO HAVE SMOKE PARTITION SEPARATION FOR WALLS PER
 407.3 ALSO SEE 407.3.1 FOR RATINGS OF CORRIDOR DOORS.
 IT WOULD ALSO APPEAR THE SMOKE BARRIER THAT IS ALREADY
 IDENTIFIED ON THE BACK WALL OF THIS WOULD STILL NEED TO
 BE IDENTIFIED AS A SMOKE BARRIER.
  
 4) SHEET A-2 & A-4 BOTH INDICATE A DOOR F-1 FUTURE
 CONTROL DOORS, ARE THESE DOOR PART OF THIS PERMIT? IF
 SO PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION, IF NOT WHY
 HAVE THEM ON THESE SHEETS? 106.1.2 ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION REQUIRED. THERE ALSO APPEARS TO BE A
 DISCEPANCY A-2 & A-4 BOTH INDICATE A PAIR OF DOORS WITH
 SIDE LIGHTS WHERE AS A-4 DETAIL F-1 THERE IS ONLY 1
 DOOR DEPICTED.
  
 5) SHEET A-4 IT APPEARS PART OF A SMOKE BARRIER HAS
 BEEN REMOVED BETWEEN OFFICES 124 AND 126? THERE ALSO
 APPEARS TO BE A ROOM BETWEEN THESE TWO OFFICES THAT IS
 NOT LABELED AS TO USAGE, MAY REQUIRE ADDITIONAL FIRE
 RATING PER SECTION 508.2 & TABLE 508.2.
  
 STARTING AUGUST 21, 2009, THE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
 DEPARTMENT WILL BE CLOSED ON FRIDAYS UNTIL FURTHER
 NOTICE.
