 PLANS WILL ALSO BE REVIEWED TO THE 2007 EXISTING
 BUILDING CODE W/ 2009 SUPPLEMENTS, PLEASE INDICATE TO
 WHAT LEVEL ALTERATION WILL BE COMPLETED UNDER THIS
 PERMIT.
 401.4 A DESIGN PROFESSIONAL OR AN OWNER MUST ELECT ONE
 OR A COMBINATION OF LEVELS OF ALTERATION PURSUANT TO
 SECTIONS 403, 404 AND 405 OF THIS CODE.
 PLEASE UPDATE PLANS.
  
 2) MISSING WIND DSIGN INFO:
 1603.1.4 WIND DESIGN DATA./ R301.2.1.3 -R301.2.1.5
 THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION RELATED TO WIND LOADS SHALL
 BE SHOWN, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WIND LOADS GOVERN THE
 DESIGN OF THE LATERAL-FORCE-RESISTING SYSTEM OF THE
 BUILDING:
 1. BASIC WIND SPEED (3-SECOND GUST), MILES PER HOUR
 (KM/HR).
  
 2. WIND IMPORTANCE FACTOR, I W , AND BUILDING
 CLASSIFICATION FROM TABLE 1604.5 OR TABLE 6-1, ASCE 7
 AND BUILDING CLASSIFICATION IN TABLE 1-1, ASCE 7.
  
 3. WIND EXPOSURE, IF MORE THAN ONE WIND EXPOSURE IS
 UTILIZED, THE WIND EXPOSURE AND APPLICABLE WIND
 DIRECTION SHALL BE INDICATED.PLEASE REVIEW SECTION
 R-3012.1.4(3) EXPOSURE "C" REQUIREMNTS.
  
 4. THE APPLICABLE ENCLOSURE CLASSIFICATIONS AND, IF
 DESIGNING WITH ASCE 7, INTERNAL PRESSURE COEFFICIENT.
  
 5. COMPONENTS AND CLADDING. THE DESIGN WIND PRESSURES
 IN TERMS OF PSF (KN/M 2 ) TO BE USED FOR THE SELECTION
 OF EXTERIOR COMPONENTS AND CLADDING MATERIALS NOT
 SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED BY THE REGISTERED DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL.
  
 3) PLANS A-02 ARE LACKING THE WIND DESIGN PRESSURE FOR
 THE NEW WINDOW OPENING AS WELL AS NEW DOUBLE EXTERIOR
 DOOR LOCATED IN STUDY.
  
 4) THE NEW EXTERIOR DOUBLE DOOR OPENING AT THE STUDY
 ALSO IS MISSING PRODUCT APPROVALS REQUIRED BY RULE
 9B-72(31)( A) AND R-301.2.1.2.
  
 5) 106.3.3 PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE
 REGULATED BY THE DCA RULE 9B-72 SHALL BE REVIEWED AND
 APPROVED IN WRITTING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO
 SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
  
 6) SHEET A-203 THE NEW MASTER BATHROOM AND WHIRLPOOL
 TUB IS LOCATED NEXT TO AN EXISTING WINDOW, THE NEW TUB
 HAS CREATED A HAZARDOUS LOCATION SEE R308.4(5).
  
 7) SHEET A-01 INDICATES REMODELING OF THE RESTROOM
 UNDER THE STAIRWELL, PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH
 R311.2.2 UNDER STAIR PROTECTION. ENCLOSED ACCESSIBLE
 SPACE UNDER STAIRS SHALL HAVE WALLS, UNDER STAIR
 SURFACE AND ANY SOFFITS PROTECTED ON THE ENCLOSED SIDE
 WITH 1/2-INCH (13 MM) GYPSUM BOARD.
  
 8) BUILDING PROVISO: THE NEW MASTER BEDROOM EGRESS
 WINDOW MUST MAINTAIN A CLEAR VENT SIZE OF 5.7 SQ FT, A
 245 WINDOW MAY MAKE OR MAY NOT MAKE THE CLEAR REQUIRED
 VENT SIZE DEPENDING ON THE SASH SIZE! R310.1.1
 R310.1.1 MINIMUM OPENING AREA. ALL EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND
 RESCUE OPENINGS SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM NET CLEAR OPENING
 OF 5.7 SQUARE FEET (0.530 M2).
  
 EXCEPTION: GRADE FLOOR OPENINGS SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM
 NET CLEAR OPENING OF 5 SQUARE FEET (0.465 M2).
  
 R310.1.2 MINIMUM OPENING HEIGHT. THE MINIMUM NET CLEAR
 OPENING HEIGHT SHALL BE 24 INCHES (610 MM).
  
 R310.1.3 MINIMUM OPENING WIDTH. THE MINIMUM NET CLEAR
 OPENING WIDTH SHALL BE 20 INCHES (508 MM).
  
 STARTING AUGUST 21, 2009, THE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
 DEPARTMENT WILL BE CLOSED ON FRIDAYS UNTIL FURTHER
 NOTICE.
