 PROVIDE RESPONSES IN WRITING.
  
 1) THE NORTHWOOD MIXED USE DISTRICT REQUIRES THAT
 STORIES AT SIDEWALK LEVEL BE NO LESS THAN 12 FEET IN
 HEIGHT FROM FINISHED FLOOR TO FINISHED CEILING [SECTION
 94-213(A)(2) ZONING AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS].
 SECTION A-A ON SHEET A-3 SHOWS THAT THE EXISTING
 CEILING IS 12 FEET IN HEIGHT. SHEETS A-3 AND A-4 SHOW
 THAT THE CEILING HEIGHT IS BEING LOWERED TO 10 FEET 6
 INCHES IN THE KITCHEN AND STORAGE AREAS AND 9 FEET IN
 THE BATHROOMS. NEITHER OF THESE IS PERMITTED.
  
 2) PROVIDE ELEVATIONS OF THE BUILDING WITH CLEAR
 GLAZING CALCULATIONS. PLANS REVIEWED BY ZONING STAFF IN
 JULY 2009 AS WELL AS SHEET A-1 INDICATE THAT THE
 EXISTING, EASTERN FACADE CLEAR GLAZING IS BEING BLOCKED
 AT THE BATHROOM LOCATION, AND SHEET A-1 SEEMS TO
 INDICATE THAT A SOLID WALL IS BEING INSTALLED IN PLACE
 OF GLAZING ON THE SOUTH SIDE FA??ADE. SECTION
 94-213(D)(5)B OF THE ZONING AND LAND DEVELOPMENT
 REGULATIONS DO NOT ALLOW A REDUCTION IN THE CLEAR
 GLAZED AREAS.
  
 3) THE DIFFERENT SHEETS INDICATE DIFFERENT CONDITIONS
 OF THE EASTERN WALL ADJACENT TO THE BATHROOMS.
  
 4) SECTION 94-213(D)(15) OF THE ZONING AND LAND
 DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS REQUIRE THAT ROOFTOP MECHANICAL
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE SCREENED BY LANDSCAPE OR BUILT
 ELEMENTS DESIGNED AS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE BUILDING.
 PROVIDE DETAILS ON THE HEIGHT OF THE NEW ROOFTOP
 CONDENSING UNITS, TO INCLUDE THE MOUNTING RACK, EXHAUST
 FANS AND ANY OTHER NEW ROOFTOP MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT AND
 PROVIDE AN ELEVATION DRAWING OF HOW IT WILL BE
 SCREENED.
