 DOCUMENTS. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE OF
 SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE &
 EXTENT OF THE WORK PROPOSED & SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT
 WILL CONFORM TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND
 RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES, AND RULES AND REGULATIONS AS
 DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.

 THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION RELATED TO WIND LOADS SHALL
 BE SHOWN, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WIND LOADS GOVERN THE
 DESIGN OF THE LATERAL-FORCE-RESISTING SYSTEM OF THE
 BUILDING:
 1. BASIC WIND SPEED (3-SECOND GUST), MILES PER HOUR
 (KM/HR).
  
 2. WIND IMPORTANCE FACTOR, I W , AND BUILDING
 CLASSIFICATION FROM TABLE 1604.5 OR TABLE 6-1, ASCE 7
 AND BUILDING CLASSIFICATION IN TABLE 1-1, ASCE 7.
  
 3. WIND EXPOSURE, IF MORE THAN ONE WIND EXPOSURE IS
 UTILIZED, THE WIND EXPOSURE AND APPLICABLE WIND
 DIRECTION SHALL BE INDICATED.
  
 4. THE APPLICABLE ENCLOSURE CLASSIFICATIONS AND, IF
 DESIGNING WITH ASCE 7, INTERNAL PRESSURE COEFFICIENT.
  
 5. COMPONENTS AND CLADDING. THE DESIGN WIND PRESSURES

 2B) PLANS DO NOT INDICATE THAT ANY OF THE WOOD IN THE
 DECK WILL BE BUILT WITH EITHER PRESSURE TREATED WOOD OR
 NATURALLY DURABLE WOOD. R319.1 LOCATION REQUIRED.
 PROTECTION FROM DECAY SHALL BE PROVIDED IN THE
 FOLLOWING LOCATIONS BY THE USE OF NATURALLY DURABLE
 WOOD OR WOOD THAT IS PRESERVATIVE TREATED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH AWPA U1 FOR THE SPECIES, PRODUCT, PRESERVATIVE AND
 END USE. PRESERVATIVES SHALL BE LISTED IN SECTION 4 OF
 AWPA U1.
  
 1. WOOD JOISTS OR THE BOTTOM OF A WOOD STRUCTURAL FLOOR
 WHEN CLOSER THAN 18 INCHES (457 MM) OR WOOD GIRDERS
 WHEN CLOSER THAN 12 INCHES (305 MM) TO THE EXPOSED
 GROUND
 IN CRAWL SPACES OR UNEXCAVATED AREA LOCATED WITHIN THE
 PERIPHERY OF THE BUILDING FOUNDATION.
  
 2. ALL WOOD FRAMING MEMBERS THAT REST ON CONCRETE OR
 MASONRY EXTERIOR FOUNDATION WALLS AND ARE LESS THAN 8
 INCHES (203 MM) FROM THE EXPOSED GROUND.
  
 3. THE ENDS OF WOOD GIRDERS ENTERING EXTERIOR MASONRY
 OR CONCRETE WALLS HAVING CLEARANCES OF LESS THAN 0.5
 INCH (12.7 MM) ON TOPS, SIDES AND ENDS.
  
 4. WOOD SIDING, SHEATHING AND WALL FRAMING ON THE
 EXTERIOR OF A BUILDING HAVING A CLEARANCE OF LESS THAN

 PLEASE DRAW EITHER A ELEVATION AND OR SECTION THROUGH
 THE DECK, INDICATING THE DEPTH OF THE 4"X4" AND AMOUNT
 OF CONCRETE WHICH CREATES THE FOOTING WXTX L.
  
 2C) PLANS FAIL TO INDICATE THE LIVE LOADS TO BE PLACED
 ON THE FLOOR JOIST, PLANS DRAWN ARE CONSIDERED SIMPLE
 SPAN, BUT NO SPACING IS PROVIDED? PLEASE PROVIDE
 SPECIES OF WOOD,
 GRADE OF WOOD, DEAD LOADS, AND DEFLECTION, TABLE
 R502.2.3(2) .
  
 3) PLEASE PROVIDE A WALL CONNECTION DETAIL INDICATING
 THE LENGTH OF THE 1/2" WEDGE ANCHORS TO BE USED, THE
 ELEVATION OF THE NEW WOOD DECK IN REGARDS TO THE
 INTERIOR FINISH
 FLOOR, AND THE EXTERIOR FINISH OF THE BUILDING, BE WOOD
 SIDING, STUCCO, ETC... R502.2.2 DECKS. WHERE SUPPORTED
 BY ATTACHMENT TO AN EXTERIOR WALL, DECKS SHALL BE
 POSITIVELY
 ANCHORED TO THE PRIMARY STRUCTURE AND DESIGNED FOR BOTH
 VERTICAL AND LATERAL LOADS AS APPLICABLE. SUCH
 ATTACHMENT SHALL NOT BE ACCOMPLISHED BY THE USE OF
 TOENAILS OR NAILS
 SUBJECT TO WITHDRAWAL. WHERE POSITIVE CONNECTION TO THE
 PRIMARY BUILDING STRUCTURE CANNOT BE VERIFIED DURING
 INSPECTION, DECKS SHALL BE SELF- SUPPORTING. FOR DECKS
 WITH
 CANTILEVERED FRAMING MEMBERS, CONNECTIONS TO EXTERIOR
 WALLS OR OTHER FRAMING MEMBERS, SHALL BE DESIGNED AND
 CONSTRUCTED TO RESIST UPLIFT RESULTING FROM THE FULL
 LIVE LOAD
 SPECIFIED IN TABLE R301.5 ACTING ON THE CANTILEVERED
 PORTION OF THE DECK.
  
 4) PLEASE PROVIDE SECTION OF THE ATTACHMENT OF FLOOR
 JOIST TO THE HEADER, WILL YOU BE USING EITHER BUCKETS
 OR HANGERS, PLEASE PROVIDE THE MANUFACTURER, MODEL
 NUMBERAND OR
 SERIES. RULE 9B-72 PRODUCT APPROVALS.
  
 5) PLEASE REVIEW YOUR DESIGN ON THE LEFT END SIDE OF
 THE SHEET THE FLOOR JOIST ARE TYING INTO THE HEADER
 THAT IS TO BE BOLTED INTO THE STEMWALL FOUNDATION,
 INTHE CENTER AND RIGHT
 SIDE THE PLANS INDICATE A SINGLE HEADER WHICH INTHE
 CENTER 80 SQ FT OF DECK TRANSFER AND THE RIGHT SIDE OF
 THE DECK 40 FT OF DECK TRANSFERS ONTO, THERE IS ALOT OF
 QUESTIONS
 ABOUT THIS DESIGN. PLEASE SEE ME IN PERSON.
  
 6) SINCE THERE IS NO ELEVATION VIEWS ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION MAY BE REQUIRED, WILL STAIRS BE REQUIRED,
 AND OR WILL GUARDRAILS BE OF CONCERNS.
  
 A THOROUGH REVIEW CAN NOT BE MADE AT THIS TIME, AS A
 RESULT OF THE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUESTED
 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS MAY APPEAR THAT WERE NOT PART OF
