 RESIDENCE THERE IS ADDITIONAL WORK TO BE COMPLETED,
 RECONFIGURATION OF OF SPACE, THE ADDITION OR
 ELIMINATION OF ANY DOOR OR WINDOW, THE RECONFIGURATION
 OR EXTENSION OF ANY SYSTEM, OR THE INSTALLATION OF ANY
 ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT. 404.1 (EXISTING BUILDING CODE).

 ATTIC INSULATION WHERE AS SHEET 2.2 INDICATES A R=19.
  
 1D) THE AREA OF THE ADDITION IS IN A QUESTIONABLE SOILS
 AREA, PLEASE PROVIDE TESTING REPORT INDICATING THE
 MINIMUM SAFE BEARING VALUE OF THE SOILS. R401.4 SOIL
 TESTS. IN AREAS LIKELY TO HAVE EXPANSIVE, COMPRESSIBLE,
 SHIFTING OR OTHER UNKNOWN SOIL CHARACTERISTICS, THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL SHALL DETERMINE WHETHER TO REQUIRE A
 SOIL TEST TO DETERMINE THE SOIL'S CHARACTERISTICS AT A
 PARTICULAR LOCATION. THIS TEST SHALL BE MADE BY AN

 WITH SECTION 1619WHICH IN THE 2007 FBC HAS TO DO WITH
 HIGH VELOCITY HURRICANE ZONES- LIVE LOAD REDUCTIONS-
 WHICH IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR DADE AND BROWARD COUNTIES.
 PALM BEACH COUNTY AND THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH ARE
 IN A 140 MPH ZONE WHICH IS CONSIDERED A WIND BORNE
 DEBRIS REGION WHICH IS WHEN WINDS ARE GREATER THAN 120
 MPH, 3 SECOND GUST.
  
 4) WIND DESIGN CRITERIA FOUND ON SHEET 2.2 DOES NOT
 PROVIDE THE 3 SECOND GUST AS PART OF THE BASIC WIND
 VELOCITY R301.2(1), SEE FIGURE 301.2(4).
  
 5) SHEET A1.2 INDICATES A NEW BATHROOM IN THE ADDITION
 AND A RECONFIGURED BATH #2 BOTH APPEAR TO HAVE A TUB/
 SHOWER COMPARTMENT, NO INFORMATION HAS BEEN PROVIDED ON
 THE WALL FINISH IN THESE AREAS. R307.2 BATHTUB AND
 SHOWER SPACES. BATHTUB AND SHOWER FLOORS AND WALLS
 ABOVE BATHTUBS WITH INSTALLED SHOWER HEADS AND IN
 SHOWER COMPARTMENTS SHALL BE FINISHED WITH A
 NONABSORBENT SURFACE. SUCH WALL SURFACES SHALL EXTEND
 TO A HEIGHT OF NOT LESS THAN 6 FEET (1829 MM) ABOVE THE

 6) SHEET 1.2 ON THE NEW ADDITION THE EXTERIOR DOUBLE
 DOORS DOES NOT INDICATE A LANDING. R311.4.3 LANDINGS AT
 DOORS. THERE SHALL BE A FLOOR OR LANDING ON EACH SIDE
 OF EACH EXTERIOR DOOR.
  
 7) SHEET 1.2 INDICATES A NEW MUD ROOM, NEW OPENING
 BETWEEN THE GARAGE AND RESIDENCE, R309.1. R309.1
 OPENING PROTECTION. OPENINGS BETWEEN THE GARAGE AND
 RESIDENCE SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH SOLID WOOD DOORS NOT
 LESS THAN 13/8 INCHES (35 MM) IN THICKNESS, SOLID OR
 HONEYCOMB CORE STEEL DOORS NOT LESS THAN 13/8 INCHES
 (35 MM) THICK, OR 20-MINUTE FIRE-RATED DOORS.
  
 8) SHEET 4.1 IS MISSING SMOKE ALARMS: R313.1 SMOKE
 DETECTION AND NOTIFICATION. ALL SMOKE ALARMS SHALL BE
 LISTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH UL 217 AND INSTALLED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND THE
 HOUSEHOLD FIRE WARNING EQUIPMENT PROVISIONS OF NFPA 72.
  
 HOUSEHOLD FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH NFPA 72 THAT INCLUDE SMOKE ALARMS, OR A
 COMBINATION OF SMOKE DETECTOR AND AUDIBLE NOTIFICATION
