 WITH THE CLERK OF THE COURT. NOTE: 713.13(2) IF THE
 WORK DESCRIBED IN THE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT IS NOT
 ACTUALLY COMMENCED WITHIN 90 DAYS AFTER THE RECORDING
 THEREOF, SUCH NOTICE IS NULL & VOID. NOTE: 713.13(6)
 THE POSTING OF THE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT AT THE
 CONSTRUCTION SITE BEFORE THE FIRST INSPECTION.
  
 1C) PLANS SUBMITTED FOR PERMIT (FIRST TIME REVIEW)
 AFTER MARCH 1ST, 2009 SHALL BE REVIEWED TO THE 2007 FBC
 BUILDING WITH THE 2009 SUPPLEMENTS. PLANS ALSO WILL BE
 REVIEWED TO THE 2007 EXISTING BUILDING CODE WITH 2009
 SUPPLEMENTS. PLEASE UPDATE PLANS
  
 2) 2007 EXISTING BUILDING CODE 506.2.2 A BUILDING THAT
 HAS SUSTAINED SUBSTANIAL STRUCTURAL DAMAGE TO THE
 ELEMENTS OF ITS LATERAL-FORCE RESISTING SYSTEM SHALL BE
 EVALUATED AND REPAIRED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 APPLICABLE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 506.2.2.1 THROUGH
 506.2.2.3.
  
 506.2.2.1 EVALUATION . THE BUILDING SHALL BE EVALUATED
 BY A REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL, AND THE EVALUATION
 FINDINGS SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE CODE OFFICIAL . THE
 EVALUATION SHALL ESTABLISH WHETHER THE DAMAGED
 BUILDING, IF REPAIRED TO ITS PREDAMAGED STATE, WOULD
 COMPLY WITH WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE CODES THAT WERE
 IN EFFECT WHEN THE BUILDING WAS PERMITTED.WIND FORCES
 FOR THIS EVALUATION SHALL BE THOSE PRESCRIBED IN THE
 CODE THAT WERE IN EFFECT WHEN THE BUILDING WAS
 PERMITTED. PLEASE ALSO REVIEW 506.2.2.2 FOR EXTENT
 OFREPAIRS FOR COMPLIANT BUILDINGS AND 506.2.2.3.
 EXTENT OF REPAIRS FOR NONCOMPLIANT BUILDINGS.
  
 3) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED, THE PERMIT
 APPLICATION INDICATES THAT THTE OWNER IS PULLING THE
 REPAIR PERMIT FOR THE STRUCTURAL PORTION OF WORK. FOR
 THE ROOFING PERMIT THE OWNER HAS NOT SIGNED ON NOR HAS
 A ROOFING CONTRACTOR SIGNED THE BOTTOM PORTION OF THE
 PERMIT APPLICATION FOR A ROOFING PERMIT. THE TWO ISSUES
 AT HAND ARE :
 3A) PLANS INDICATE A 2/12 PITCH TO BE VERIFIED BY TRUSS
 MANUFACTURER. R905.2.7.
 3B) FOR A SHINGLE ROOF THIS IS THE LEAST SLOPE THAT
 SHINGLES CAN BE APPLIED IS A 2:12 PITCH WITH A DOUBLE
 UNDERLAYMENTAND LAPPED 19 INCHES. R905.2.7.
  
 4) SHEET A1 DOES NOT INDICATE ATTIC ACCESS PER SECTION
 R807.1.ATTIC ACCESS. BUILDINGS WITH COMBUSTIBLE CEILING
 OR ROOF CONSTRUCTION SHALL HAVE AN ATTIC ACCESS OPENING
 TO ATTIC AREAS THAT EXCEED 30 SQUARE FEET (2.8 M2) AND
 HAVE A VERTICAL HEIGHT OF 30 INCHES (762 MM) OR MORE.
 PLANS FAIL TO INDICATETHE ROUGH-FRAMED OPENING SHALL
 NOT BE LESS THAN 22 INCHES BY 30 INCHES (559 MM BY 762
 MM) AND SHALL BE LOCATED IN A HALLWAY OR OTHER READILY
 ACCESSIBLE LOCATION. A 30-INCH (762 MM) MINIMUM
 UNOBSTRUCTED HEADROOM IN THE ATTIC SPACE SHALL BE
 PROVIDED AT SOME POINT ABOVE THE ACCESS OPENING. SEE
 SECTION M1305.1.3 FOR ACCESS REQUIREMENTS WHERE
 MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT IS LOCATED IN ATTICS.
  
 5) ROOF VENTILATION R806.2 MINIMUM AREA. THE TOTAL NET
 FREE VENTILATING AREA SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 1/150 OF
 THE AREA OF THE SPACE VENTILATED EXCEPT THAT REDUCTION
 OF THE TOTAL AREA TO 1/300 IS PERMITTED, PROVIDED THAT
 AT LEAST 50 PERCENT AND NOT MORE THAN 80 PERCENT OF THE
 REQUIRED VENTILATING AREA IS PROVIDED BY VENTILATORS
 LOCATED IN THE UPPER PORTION OF THE SPACE TO BE
 VENTILATED AT LEAST 3 FEET (914 MM) ABOVE THE EAVE OR
 CORNICE VENTS WITH THE BALANCE OF THE REQUIRED
 VENTILATION PROVIDED BY EAVE OR CORNICE VENTS. AS AN
 ALTERNATIVE, THE NET FREE CROSS-VENTILATION AREA MAY BE
 REDUCED TO 1/300 WHEN A VAPOR BARRIER HAVING A
 TRANSMISSION RATE NOT EXCEEDING 1 PERM (5.7 ?? 10-11
 KG/S ?? M2 ?? PA) IS INSTALLED ON THE WARM-IN-WINTER
 SIDE OF THE CEILING.
