 NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE,
 IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE
 CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT.

 2) NOTE: 713.13(6) THE POSTING OF THE NOTICE OF
 COMMENCEMENT AT THE CONSTRUCTION SITE BEFORE THE FIRST
 INSPECTION.
  
 3) THE PLANS SHALL INDICATE THE TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION
 PER CHAPTER 6 AND TABLE 503, THE USE AND OCCUPANCY PER
 CHAPTER 3 AND THE OCCUPANT LOAD PER TABLE 1004.1.1 THIS
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED SO THAT ANY ADDITIONAL
 CONSTRUCTION WILL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ORIGINAL
 BUILDING TYPE. STATE CLEARLY ON THE PLANS THE USE OF
 THE SPACE; OFFICE/BUSINESS OR RESIDENTIAL USE?
  
 4) PLANS SUBMITTED FOR PERMIT (FIRST TIME REVIEW) AFTER
 MARCH 1ST, 2007 SHALL BE REVIEWED TO THE 2007 FBC
 BUILDING WITH THE 2009 SUPPLEMENTS.
  
 5) 2007 FBC (EXISTING) 401.4 A DESIGN PROFESSIONAL OR
 AN OWNER MUST ELECT ONE OR A COMBINATION OF LEVELS OF
 ALTERATION PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 403, 404 AND 405 OF
 THIS CODE. THIS INFORMATION SHALL BE INDICATED ON THE
 PLANS.
  
 6) PER FLORIDA STATUTES, 481.229 EXEMPTIONS FROM
 ARCHITECTURAL LICENSURE ONLY APPLY TO ONE AND TWO
 FAMILY RESIDENCES (R3) NOT MULTI-FAMILY (R2) OR
 BUILDINGS OVER $25.000, THEREFORE, DRAFTSMAN QUALITY
 DRAWINGS ARE REQUIRED TO BE DRAWN BY A LICENSED DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL. A LICENSE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO
 PERFORM THE WORK INDICATED ON THE APPLICATION. THE
 DRAWINGS SUBMITTED ARE INADEQUATE; PLANS DRAWN WITH
 PENCIL ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. 106.1.3* THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL MAY ESTABLISH THROUGH DEPARTMENTAL POLICY,
 STANDARDS FOR PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS IN ORDER TO
 PROVIDE CONFORMITY TO ITS RECORD RETENTION PROGRAM. THE
 POLICY MAY INCLUDE SUCH THINGS AS MINIMUM SIZE, SHAPE,
 CONTRAST, CLARITY, OR OTHER ITEMS RELATED RECORD
 MANAGEMENT. THE PLANS WHICH CONTAIN ITEMS TAPED TO THE
 SHEET AND PENCIL DRAWN INFORMATION DOES NOT MEET THE
 ABOVE REQUIREMENTS. BUILDING PLANS SHALL BE DRAWN TO A
 MINIMUM 1/8 INCH SCALE.
  
 7) INDICATE THE TYPE OF 2X4 WHICH WILL BE USED FOR THE
 SOLE PLATE ON THE PLANS. THE TYPE OF WOOD USED SHALL
 MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF FBC 2007 SECTION 603.
  
 8) THE CLAIMED VALUATION ON THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS
 LOW. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE THE TOTAL COST INCLUDING DESIGNER FEES
 AND ALL WORK INVOLVED WITH THE PROJECT. OUR VALUATION
 REFERENCE IS ICC (BVD) MARSHALL-SWIFT AND MEANS COST
