 1. PLEASE PROVIDE ALL RESPONSES IN WRITING.
  
 2. PROVIDE A LANDSCAPE PLAN IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 FOLLOWING PROVISIONS: PURSUANT TO THE CITY OF WEST PALM
 BEACH ZONING AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS (ZLDR),
 SECTION 94-442(2)(A): GENERAL LANDSCAPING STANDARDS FOR
 SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING UNITS SHALL BE AS FALLOWS:
  
 A. SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING UNITS. FOR SINGLE-FAMILY
 DWELLING UNITS, AT LEAST ONE SHADE, FLOWERING OR FRUIT
 TREE SHALL BE PLANTED FOR EACH 1,200 SQUARE FEET OF
 OPEN SPACE OR PORTION THEREOF. FOR SINGLE-FAMILY
 DWELLING UNITS, AT LEAST ONE SHRUB SHALL BE PLANTED FOR
 EACH 500 SQUARE FEET OF OPEN SPACE OR PORTION THEREOF.
  
 YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE THE CALCULATIONS OF YOUR TOTAL
 OPEN SPACE. TO CALCULATE YOUR OPEN SPACE AREA, YOU WILL
 NEED TO FIRST FIGURE OUT YOUR TOTAL LOT AREA (LENGTH X
 WIDTH OF THE LOT) AND SUBTRACT THE SQUARE FOOTAGE OF
 THE BUILDING'S FOOTPRINT. THIS WILL GIVE YOU YOUR OPEN
 SPACE CALCULATION, WHICH YOU CAN THEN DIVIDE BY 1,200
 TO GET THE NUMBER OF REQUIRED SHADE TREES, AND DIVIDE
 BY 500 TO GET YOUR TOTAL NUMBER OF REQUIRED SHRUBS.
 PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
 -- IF YOUR EXISTING LANDSCAPING FALLS SHORT OF THESE
 CALCULATED NUMBERS, ADDITIONAL TREES/SHRUBS WILL NEED
 TO BE INSTALLED. **NOTE: PALM TREES DO NOT COUNT AS
 SHADE TREES.
 -- SHOW ON SITE PLAN OR SURVEY: THE LOCATION, TYPE, AND
 SIZE OF THE REQUIRED LANDSCAPING.
 -- SHRUBS NEED TO BE A MINIMUM TWO (2) GALLON CONTAINER
 SIZE. TREES NEED TO BE A MINIMUM OF 8 FEET IN HEIGHT
 WITH A CLEAR TRUNK SPACE OF AT LEASE FIVE (5) FEET.
 -- PURSUANT TO THE ZLDR, SECTION 94-445(4)(G)(3), ALL
 YARD/LANDSCAPE AREAS ARE REQUIRED TO BE IRRIGATED.
  
 3. HAS THE EXISTING POOL EQUIMENT BEEN RELOCATED AS A
 RESULT OF THIS PROJECT? IF YES, PLEASE INDICATE THE
 SETBACK DIMENSIONS FROM THE POOL EQUIPMENT TO ALL
 ADJACENT PROPERTY LINES. NOTE: PURSUANT TO THE ZLDR,
 SECTION 94-305(B)(4): MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT MAY NOT
 PROJECT MORE THAN 4 FEET INTO AN REQUIRED SETBACK.
  
 4. DRIVEWAY SHALL BE SUBMITTED UNDER SEPERATE PERMIT.
 NOTE: PURSUANT TO THE ZLDR, SECTION 94-482: REQUIRED
 OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES FOR LESS THAN FOUR
 RESIDENTIAL DWELLING UNITS SHALL BE LOCATED ON THE
 PROPERTY ON WHICH THE UNITS ARE CONSTRUCTED. REQUIRED
 PARKING MAY BE LOCATED IN A FRONT YARD; HOWEVER, THE
 LESSER OF 1,000 SQUARE FEET OR 75 PERCENT OF THE FRONT
 YARD AREA MUST BE LANDSCAPED. PARKING AREAS LOCATED IN
 THE FRONT YARD SHALL BE SURFACED WITH A SMOOTH,
 NONDUSTING SURFACE IN COMPLIANCE WITH SUBSECTION
 33-485(E). IT SHALL BE A VIOLATION OF THIS CHAPTER TO
 PARK ON ANY UNPAVED AREAS AS DESCRIBED IN THIS ARTICLE.
  
 PLEASE INDICATE SQUARE FOOTAGE OF ALL IMPERMEABLE
 SURFACES (EXISTING AND PROPOSED) LOCATED WITHIN THE
 FRONT YARD (FROM FRONT PROPERTY LINE TO THE FRONT
 BUILDING FACADE).
  
 IS THE DRIVEWAY APPROACH BEING WIDENED? IF YES, A
 RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT WILL NEED TO BE ACQUIRED FROM THE
 CITY'S ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT (561.494.1040), FOR THE
 PROPOSED WIDENING OF THE APPROACH EXTENSION.
  
 NOTE: THE SUBMITTAL OF THE REQUESTED INFORMATION MAY
 GENERATE ADDITIONAL COMMENTS.
