 1) A RECORDED COPY OF THE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT WILL
 BE REQUIRED. FS 713
  
 2) IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM
 BEACH COUNTY, PLANS STAMPED BY THEM AND
 COPY OF RECEIPT SUBMITTED TO CITY OF
 WEST PALM BEACH BUILDING DEPARTMENT,
 BEFORE A BUILDING PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED. PHONE:

 3) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R602.1.2 FIREBLOCKING REQUIRED.
 FIREBLOCKING SHALL BE PROVIDED TO CUT OFF ALL CONCEALED
 DRAFT OPENINGS (BOTH VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL) AND TO
 FORM AN EFFECTIVE FIRE BARRIER BETWEEN STORIES, AND
 BETWEEN A TOP STORY AND THE ROOF SPACE. FIREBLOCKING
 SHALL BE PROVIDED IN WOOD-FRAME CONSTRUCTION IN THE
 FOLLOWING LOCATIONS.
 1. IN CONCEALED SPACES OF STUD WALLS AND PARTITIONS,
 INCLUDING FURRED SPACES AND PARALLEL ROWS OF STUDS OR
 STAGGERED STUDS; AS FOLLOWS:
 1.1. VERTICALLY AT THE CEILING AND FLOOR LEVELS.
 1.2. HORIZONTALLY AT INTERVALS NOT EXCEEDING 10 FEET
 (3048 MM).
 2. AT ALL INTERCONNECTIONS BETWEEN CONCEALED VERTICAL
 AND HORIZONTAL SPACES SUCH AS OCCUR AT SOFFITS, DROP
 CEILINGS AND COVE CEILINGS.
 3. IN CONCEALED SPACES BETWEEN STAIR STRINGERS AT THE
 TOP AND BOTTOM OF THE RUN. ENCLOSED SPACES UNDER STAIRS
 SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION R311.2.2.
 4. AT OPENINGS AROUND VENTS, PIPES, AND DUCTS AT
 CEILING AND FLOOR LEVEL, WITH AN APPROVED MATERIAL TO
 RESIST THE FREE PASSAGE OF FLAME AND PRODUCTS OF
 COMBUSTION.
 5. FOR THE FIREBLOCKING OF CHIMNEYS AND FIREPLACES, SEE
 SECTION R1001.16.
 6. FIREBLOCKING OF CORNICES OF A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING IS
 REQUIRED AT THE LINE OF DWELLING UNIT SEPARATION.
  
 4) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R320.1. TERMITE PROTECTION
 SHALL BE PROVIDED BY REGISTERED TERMITICIDES, INCLUDING
 SOIL APPLIED PESTICIDES, BAITING SYSTEMS, AND
 PESTICIDES APPLIED TO WOOD, OR OTHER APPROVED METHODS
 OF TERMITE PROTECTION LABELED FOR USE AS A PREVENTATIVE
 TREATMENT TO NEW CONSTRUCTION (SEE SECTION 202,
 REGISTERED TERMITICIDE). UPON COMPLETION OF THE
 APPLICATION OF THE TERMITE PROTECTIVE TREATMENT, A
 CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE SHALL BE ISSUED TO THE
 BUILDING DEPARTMENT BY THE LICENSED PEST CONTROL
 COMPANY THAT CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT: ???THE
 BUILDING HAS RECEIVED A COMPLETE TREATMENT FOR THE
 PREVENTION OF SUBTERRANEAN TERMITES. TREATMENT IS IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH RULES AND LAWS ESTABLISHED BY THE
 FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND CONSUMER
 SERVICES.???
  
 5) R506.2.3 VAPOR RETARDER. A 6 MIL (0.006 INCH)
 POLYETHYLENE OR APPROVED VAPOR RETARDER WITH JOINTS
 LAPPED NOT LESS THAN 6 INCHES (152 MM) SHALL BE PLACED
 BETWEEN THE CONCRETE FLOOR SLAB AND THE BASE COURSE OR
 THE PREPARED SUBGRADE WHERE NO BASE COURSE EXISTS.
  
 6) SPECIFY HOW THE 2 X 4 WOOD FRAME WALL WILL BE
 ATTACHED TO THE EXISTING CONCRETE BLOCK WALL.
