 REPAIRS AND INTERIOR REMODEL
  
 DENIED BY BUILDING
  
 1) THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION ON THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS
 INCORRECT. BASED ON THE PLANS THE SCOPE OF WORK IS TO
 REPAIR EXTERIOR WALLS AND INTERIOR REMODEL. PLEASE
 REVISE.
  
 2) THE VALUE OF THE WORK SPECIFIED ON THE APPLICATION
 IS TOO LOW. THE VALUATION IS TO INCLUDE ALL COSTS FOR
 MATERIALS, FINISHES, LABOR, ELECTRICAL WORK, DESIGN
 FEES, ETC. AS WOULD BE CHARGED BY A LICENSED BUILDING
 CONTRACTOR. THE ACTUAL VALUE SHOULD BE APPROXIMATELY
 $5,000.00. PLEASE REVISE THE VALUE ON THE APPLICATION
 AND PAY ADDITIONAL PERMIT FEES. FBC 108.3* CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 3) A RECORDED COPY OF THE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT WILL
 BE REQUIRED. FS 713
  
 4) IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM
 BEACH COUNTY, PLANS STAMPED BY THEM AND
 COPY OF RECEIPT SUBMITTED TO CITY OF
 WEST PALM BEACH BUILDING DEPARTMENT,
 BEFORE A BUILDING PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED. THE PROPERTY
 APPRAISER WEB SITE INDICATES THAT THIS AREA IS AN
 ENCLOSED PORCH.
  
 5) THE CONSTRUCTION TYPE AND BUILDING CODE EDITION
 SPECIFIED ON THE COVERSHEET IS NOT CORRECT. PLEASE
 CHANGE TO SECTION 602.5 OF THE 2004 FBC AND
 CONSTRUCTION TYPE V-B.
  
 6) SPECIFY THE APPLICABLE WINDSPEED AND EXPOSURE
 CATEGORY ON THE PLANS. SEE FBC R 301.2.1 AND
 R301.2.1.4.
  
 7) ON SHEET 1.2 THE WINDOW SCHEDULE SPECIFIES THE
 EGRESS WINDOWS AS 48" IN HEIGHT. THIS WILL NOT PROVIDE
 THE MINIMUM CLEAR OPENING HEIGHT OF 24" REQUIRED BY FBC
 R310.
  
 8) ON THE WINDOW SCHEDULE ON SHEET 1.2 THE SECOND LINE
 LISTS AN EXPIRED NOA (03-0717.03) FOR THE HURRICANE
 SHUTTERS. PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 9) ON SHEET 2.1 THE EXISTING TYPICAL WALL SECTION
 SPECIFIES 3/4" PLYWOOD WALL SHEATHING AND THE OTHER
 DETAILS SPECIFY 5/8" PLYWOOD. PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 10) THE TYPICAL WALL SECTION SPECIFIES R-19 WALL
 INSULATION. THE FRAME WALLS THAT ARE SPECIFIED AS 2 X 4
 HAVE A MAXIMUM INSULATION OF R-11. PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 11) ON SHEET 2.1, THE DOOR FRAME DETAIL SPECIFIES 2 X 6
 WALLS AND THE WINDOW DETAIL HAS 2 X 4 WALLS. ON SHEET
 1.2 THE WALLS ARE SPECIFIED AS 2 X 4. PLEASE CORRECT.
