 TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT
 NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE,
 IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE
 CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT.

 2) PLANS SUBMITTED FOR PERMIT (FIRST TIME REVIEW) AFTER
 JULY 1ST, 2007 SHALL BE REVIEWED TO THE 2004 FBC
 BUILDING WITH THE 2007 SUPPLEMENTS. THIS INFORMATION
 SHALL BE INDICATED ON THE PLANS.
  
 3) FBC 1210.2 WALLS WITHIN 2 FEET OF URINALS AND WATER
 CLOSETS SHALL HAVE A SMOOTH, HARD, NONABSORBENT
 SURFACE, TO A HEIGHT OF 4 FEET ABOVE THE FLOOR. NOTE:
 PAINT ON DRYWALL IS NOT CONSIDERED A HARD SURFACE.
  
 4) FBC 11-7.1(2) (I) A PORTION OF THE MAIN COUNTER
 SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM LENGTH OF 36 INCHES AND A MAXIMUM
 HEIGHT OF 36 INCHES. SHEET A3.1 #3 SHOWS THE RECEPTION
 DESK HEIGHT AT 3?- 6?.
  
 5) SHEET A1.0 DOOR #3 CLEARANCE SHALL MEET THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF 11-4.13.6 MANEUVERING CLEARENCES AT
 DOORS. MINIMUM MANEUVERING CLEARANCES AT DOORS THAT ARE
 NOT AUTOMATIC OR POWER-ASSISTED SHALL BE AS SHOWN IN
 FIG. 25. THE FLOOR OR GROUND AREA WITHIN THE REQUIRED
 CLEARANCES SHALL BE CLEAR & LEVEL. NOTE: 18? MINIMUM.
  
  
  
 6) (2004 FBC) 106.1.1 INFORMATION ON CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE OF
 SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE &
 EXTENT OF THE WORK PROPOSED & SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT
 WILL CONFORM TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND
 RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES, AND RULES AND REGULATIONS AS
 DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE PLANS NEED TO
 CLEARLY SHOW THE EXISTING WALLS AND THE NEW WALLS.
 PROVIDE A WALL LEGEND TO SHOW THIS ASPECT OF THE PLANS.
  
 7) ROOM 108 ON SHEET A1.0 WHERE THE DOOR IS REMOVED, IS
 THAT AN EXTERIOR WALL OR A PARTITION WALL WHICH NEEDS A
 FIRE RATING? IF THAT IS A PARTITION WALL, STATE THE UL
 NUMBER FOR THE NEW WALL. THERE IS NO WALL TYPE
 INDICATED.
  
 8) SHOW THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION FOR THE BREAK ROOM
 SINK ON THE PLANS. FBC 11-4.24.2. SINKS SHALL BE
 MOUNTED WITH THE COUNTER OR RIM NO HIGHER THAN 34"
 ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR. 11-4.24.3 KNEE CLEARANCE THAT
 IS AT LEAST 27" HIGH 30" WIDE, AND 19" DEEP SHALL BE
 PROVIDED UNDERNEATH SINKS. 11-4.24.5 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE.
 A CLEAR FLOOR SPACE AT LEAST 30 INCHES BY 48 INCHES
 COMPLYING WITH SECTION 11-4.2.4 SHALL BE PROVIDED IN
 FRONT OF A SINK TO ALLOW FORWARD APPROACH. THE CLEAR
 FLOOR SPACE SHALL BE ON AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE AND SHALL
 EXTEND A MAXIMUM OF 19 INCHES UNDERNEATH THE SINK.
  
 9) SHEET A1.0 ACCESSIBLE TOILET SHOWS TWO DIFFERENT
 TYPES OF WALL SYMBOLS IN BACK OF THE WATER CLOSET. WILL
 THERE BE A TYPE P-1 AND A TYPE P-2 WALL CONSTRUCTED IN
 THIS AREA? STATE HOW THE TOP AND BOTTOM TRACK WILL BE
 FASTENED TO THE STRUCTURE. CLARIFY.
