 1. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-442(C), PALM TREES MAY BE
 SUBSTITUTED FOR NOT MORE THAN 35 PERCENT OF THE SHADE
 OR FLOWERING TREES REQUIRED BY THIS ARTICLE. HOWEVER,
 WHEN PALM TREES ARE SUBSTITUTED FOR SHADE TREES, TWO
 PALM TREES SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR EACH REQUIRED SHADE
 TREE. THIS 2:1 SUBSTITUTION SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED FOR
 ROYAL PALM TREES AND SUCKERING PALM TREES SUCH AS THE
 ARECA PALM, PAUROTIS PALM AND THE SENEGAL DATE PALM.
 WHEN PALMS ARE USED THEY MUST BE PLANTED IN GROUPS OF
 THREE. TWO ADDITIONAL SHADE OR FLOWERING TREES SHALL BE
 ADDED TO MEET MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS.
  
 2. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-442(D) , PRIVATE LAND AND
 PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY BETWEEN STREET OR SIDEWALK
 SURFACES AND REQUIRED BUFFER STRIPS AND LANDSCAPED OPEN
 SPACE AREAS SHALL BE PLANTED WITH GRASS. GRASS AREAS
 SHALL BE SODDED.
  
 3. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-445(4)(G)(3), AUTOMATIC
 IRRIGATION SYSTEMS SHALL BE USED FOR THE CULTIVATED
 LANDSCAPE AREAS FOR ALL PROPERTIES. THIS INCLUDES THE
 RIGHT-OF-WAY.
  
 4. THE GROUND LEVEL AIR CONDITIONING UNITS SHALL BE
 SCREENED.
  
 5. ALL PROPOSED AND EXISTING PLANT MATERIAL SHALL BE
 CLEARLY IDENTIFIED.
  
 6. PLEASE PROVIDE THE TABULATION NECESSARY TO
 DEMONSTATE COMPLIANCE WITH THE XERISCAPE DESIGN OPTIONS
 REQUIRED FOR SINGLE FAMIILY.
  
 7. PROVIDE A PLANT LIST IDENTIFYING ALL PROPOSED TREES,
 SHRUBS AND GROUND COVER. IT SHALL INCLUDE THE QUANTITY,
 SIZE AND SPACING FOR ALL PROPOSED PLANT MATERIAL.
  
 8. PLEASE PROVIDE THE LANDSCAPE INFORMATION IN TABULAR
 FORM. THE TABULATION SHALL INCLUDE TREES REQUIRED AND
 TREES PROPOSED, SHRUBS REQUIRED AND SHRUBS PROPOSED.
 OPEN AREA IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TOTAL LOT AREA
 AND THE FOOTPRINT OF THE BUILDING. THE TREES AND SHRUBS
 REQUIRED IS BASED UPON OPEN AREA AND NOT PERVIOUS AREA.
