 1) BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT CAN BE
 ISSUED, IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO
 PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE PLANS MUST BE
 STAMPED AND THE RECEIPT ATTACHED TO THE
 APPLICATION. 233-5025
  
 2) ON SHEET A-1 PLEASE ADD ADDITION TO THE SCOPE OF
 WORK AND REVISE GENERAL NOTE 1 TO 2004 FBC WITH 2007
 REVISIONS. FBC 106.1.1* CITY AMENDMENTS
  
 3) SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF ENERGY CALCULATIONS FOR THE
 ADDITION AS REQUIRED BY FBC 13-600. THE PREPARER AND
 OWNER/AGENT SIGNATURES ARE REQUIRED ON THE FORMS.
  
 4) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R807.1 ATTIC ACCESS . IN
 BUILDINGS WITH COMBUSTIBLE CEILING OR ROOF
 CONSTRUCTION, AN ATTIC ACCESS OPENING SHALL BE PROVIDED
 TO ATTIC AREAS THAT EXCEED 30 SQUARE FEET (2.8 M 2 )
 AND HAVE A VERTICAL HEIGHT OF 30 INCHES (762 MM) OR
 GREATER. THE ROUGH-FRAMED OPENING SHALL NOT BE LESS
 THAN 22 INCHES BY 30 INCHES (559 MM BY 762 MM) AND
 SHALL BE LOCATED IN A HALLWAY OR OTHER READILY
 ACCESSIBLE LOCATION. A 30-INCH (762 MM) MINIMUM
 UNOBSTRUCTED HEADROOM IN THE ATTIC SPACE SHALL BE
 PROVIDED AT SOME POINT ABOVE THE ACCESS OPENING. SEE
 SECTION M1305.1.3 FOR ACCESS REQUIREMENTS WHERE
 MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT IS LOCATED IN ATTICS.
  
 5) SPECIFY HOW THE SECOND FLOOR BALCONY FLOOR WILL BE
 WATERPROOFED TO PREVENT WATER INTRUSION INTO THE ROOMS
 BELOW.
  
 6) SPECIFY THE LOCATIONS OF THE FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLY
 DRAFTSTOPPING ON THE PLANS. FBC R502.1.2
  
 7) PLEASE CORRECT THE TYPO ON THE LEDGER 1 DETAIL ON
 S-2 FROM 58" DIAMETER ANCHOR BOLTS TO 5/8".
  
 8) PROVIDE STRUCTURAL DETAILS OF THE SECOND FLOOR ROOF
 AREA FOR THE LARGE OVERHANG AT THE CORNER OF THE MASTER
 BATHROOM ABOVE THE ANGLE WALL. R801.2 REQUIREMENTS.
 ROOF AND CEILING CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE CAPABLE OF
 ACCOMMODATING ALL LOADS IMPOSED ACCORDING TO SECTION
 R301 AND OF TRANSMITTING THE RESULTING LOADS TO THE
 SUPPORTING STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS.
  
 9) PROVIDE STRUCTURAL DETAILS OF THE EXISTING ROOF
 FRAMING AT THE AREA WHERE THE NEW FLOOR GIRDERS
 SUPPORTED BY THE STEEL COLUMN WILL BE INSTALLED BELOW
 THE NEW MASTER BATH. R801.2
  
 10) PROVIDE A ROOF FRAMING PLAN AND DETAILS FOR THE
 ROOF CRICKETS THAT WILL BE REQUIRED TO DIVERT THE RAIN
 WATER AWAY FROM THE SECOND FLOOR WALLS OF THE ADDITION.

 11) FBC 106.3* CITY AMENDMENTS PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE
 PRODUCT WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9B-72 SHALL BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
  
 12) SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE
 GLASS BLOCK, EXTERIOR FRENCH DOORS AND STRUCTURAL
 WINDOW MULLIONS AS REQUIRED BY FAC RULE 9B-72. NOTE: IF
 PRODUCTS ARE NOT LARGE MISSILE IMPACT RATED, THEN
 PRODUCT APPROVALS, INSTALLATION SCHEDULES AND KEY PLANS
 FOR STORM PANELS WILL BE REQUIRED. FBC R301.2.1.2
  
 13) SHOP DRAWINGS FOR THE EXTERIOR BALCONY WILL BE
 REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED FOR APPROVAL BEFORE THEY ARE
