 1- PROVIDE 2 COPIES OF PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR FLAT ROOF
 SYSTEM AS REQUIRED BY DCA RULE 9B-72.
 NOTE: CLEARLY MARK SPECIFIC APPROVED FLAT ROOF ASSEMBLY
 TO BE USED AND SPECIFIC BASE SHEET FASTENING OPTION.
 ALSO, PROVIDE RAS 117 CALCULATIONS FOR NAIL ENHANCING
 AT PERIMETER AND CORNER AREAS. SEE GENERAL LIMITATION
 #7.
 CALL IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS PRODUCT
 APPROVAL AND RAS 117 CALCULATIONS.
 SEE ATTACHED COPY OF CITY POLICY FOR ROOFING PERMITS
 AND INFORMATION REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED.
  
 2- VALUE DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO LOW.
 NEED TO UPGRADE VALUE TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR AND
 MATERIALS. SEC. 108.3 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004.
  
 3- NEED RECORDED NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT. SEC. 713.13
 FLORIDA STATUTE.
  
 4- REVISE TYPE AND NAIL SPACING FOR ROOF SHEATHING AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R803.2.3.1 OF 2004 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL
 CODE. NEED TO USE 8D RING SHANK NAILS AND NAIL SPACING
 IN ROOF ZONE 3 IS 4" OF CENTER. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 5- THERE ARE ONLY 3 ANCHOR BOLTS HOLDING THE 2X10 WOOD
 PLATE. PROVIDE CALCULATIONS SHOWING HOW THIS THREE
 ANCHORS WILL RESIST THE UPLIFT LOAD CREATED BY THE 140
 MPH WIND LOADS. ALSO, SPECIFY WHAT IS THE MINIMUM
 DISTANCE REQUIRED TO BE AT THE ENDS OF THE 2X10 PLATE.
 SEC. 106.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004 TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE UPLIFT LOADS OF SEC. R301 OF 2004
 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE.
  
 6- PROVIDE DETAIL SHOWING HOW IS THE MSTAM24 SIMPSON
 STRAP GOING TO BE INSTALLED. SEE SIMPSON CATALOG FOR
 SPECIFIC INSTALLATION THAT STRAP WAS DESIGNED FOR.
 PROVIDE COMPLETE ENGINEERING ANALYSIS FOR USE OTHER
 THAN THAT SHOWN ON THE SIMPSON CATALOG. SEC. 106.1.2
 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004 TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH
 SEC. R301 OF 2004 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE.
  
 7- ROOF FRAMING PLAN AND BUILDING SECTION 1/R-1 DON'T
 MATCH. REVISE AS REQUIRED TO MATCH. CHECK NUMBER OF
 JOISTS AND OVERHANG DETAIL AND REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 8- SPECIFY ROOF SLOPE TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH SEC.
 R905.11 OF 2004 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE.
  
 9- INFORMATION ON WALL SECTION 2/R-1 DOESN'T MATCH
 INFORMATION SHOWN ON ROOF FRAMING PLAN. WALL SECTION
 CALLS FOR SIMPSON HM9 CONNECTORS AT THE EXISTING WALL
 END, WHILE ROOF FRAMING PLAN CALLS FOR SIMPSON H3
 CONNECTORS. REVISE AS REQUIRED TO MATCH.
  
 10- ROOFING PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR SCOPE OF WORK TO BE
 PERFORMED. SIGN PERMIT APPLICATION ON SPACE ALOCATED
 FOR THE ROOFING CONTRACTOR.
