 ATTACHED COPYFROM DADE COUNTY WEB-SITE.NEED TO
 PROVIDE CURRENTPRODUCT APPROVAL WHOSE FILE IS NOT
 CLOSED.
  
 2-A) IF THE EDGE DISTANCE ON INSTALLATION SCHEDULE
 COLUMN #8IS31/2",THEN THE SHUTTER SPAN ON
 COLUMN #6NEEDS TO BE CHANGED TO REFLECT THE EDGE
 DISTANCE ACCORDING TO THE SIZE OPENING.SHUTTER SPAN
 SPECIFIED IN THE INSTALLATION SCHEDULE IS ONLY 2 INCHES
 LONGER THAN THE OPENING HEIGHT.THIS NUMBER DOESN'T
 WORK WITH 3 1/2"EDGE DISTANCE.NOTE: EDGE DISTANCE
 DOESN'T TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THE STUCCO FINISH OR
 ANY OTHER WALL FINISH. SEE GENERAL NOTE#7 ON SHEET 1
 OF 6 OF DRAWING 06-010 SUBMITTED.
  
 B) CLARIFY WHY SHUTTER SPAN ON OPENING #2 IS THE
 SAME SIZE AS THE OPENING SIZE.
  
 3- REVISE LENGTH OF TAPCON SPECIFIEDTO MEET THE
 MINIMUM EMBEDMENT REQUIREMENTS OFGENERAL NOTE #7.1
 3/4" TAPCONS SPECIFIED ON THE INSTALLATION SCHEDULE
 DON'T PROVIDE THE REQUIRED EMBEDMENT. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED. STUCCO OR ANY OTHER WALL FINISH SHALL NOT BE
 CONSIDERED FOR THE MINIMUM EMBEDMENT REQUIRED.
  
 4-INSTALLATION SCHEDULE CALLS FOR SUBSTRATE TO BE
 POURED CONCRETE AT TOP AND BOTTOM OF OPENING.PROVIDE
 PROOF/TESTING THAT THE BOTTOM OF OPENING IS ALSO
 3000PSI POURED CONCRETE.OTHERWISE USE THE ANCHOR
 SPACING FOR MASONRY INSTALLATION ON SHEET 5 OF 6 OF
 DRAWING 06-010 SUBMITTED.
 NOTE: TYPICALLY TOP OF OPENING IS CONCRETE BECAUSE IS A
 PRECAST LINTEL OR POURED TIE BEAM.AND BOTTOM OF
 OPENING ISUSUALLY CONCRETEBLOCK CELLS FILLED WITH
 CONCRETE. THAT'S WHY PROOF OF EXISTING SUBSTRATE IS
 REQUIRED TO PROPERLY USE CORRESPONDING ANCHOR SPACING.
