 CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT.

 AFTER JULY 1ST, 2007 SHALL BE REVIEWED TO THE 2004 FBC
 BUILDING WITH THE 2007 SUPPLEMENTS.

 PER FLORIDA STATUTES, 481.229 EXEMPTIONS FROM
 ARCHITECTURAL LICENSURE ONLY APPLY TO 1FAMILY AND
 2FAMILY RESIDENCES (R3) NOT MULTI-FAMILY (R2) OR
 BUILDINGS OVER $25,000, THEREFORE, DRAWINGS ARE
 REQUIRED TO BE DRAWN BY A LICENSED DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL.
  
 A DESIGN PROFESSIONAL THAT IS REGISTERED TO PRACTICE
 UNDER CHAPTER 481 OR 471 OF THE FLORIDA STATUTES SHALL
 AFFIX THEIR OFFICIAL SEAL, SIGNATURE AND DATE TO SAID
 DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATION PER 106.1 FBC 2004, THE
 EXEMPTION FROM LICENSURE UNDER 481.229 FLORIDA STATUTES
 DOES NOT EXEMPT THE DESIGNER RESPONSIBLE FOR THE
 DRAWINGS FROM SIGNING AND DATING SAID DRAWINGS.
  
 4)A DESIGN PROFESSIONAL THAT IS REGISTERED TO
 PRACTICE UNDER CHAPTER 481 OR 471 OF THE FLORIDA
 STATUTES SHALL AFFIX THEIR OFFICIAL SEAL, SIGNATURE AND
 DATE TO SAID DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS PER 106.1 FBC
 2004
  
 5)ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED PER 106.1.2*.
 PROVIDE AN EXISTING FLOOR PLAN SHOWING THE EXISTING
 LAYOUT OF THE WALLS AND ROOMS. ON THIS PLAN YOU CAN
 SHOW WHAT WALLS OR SYSTEMS WILL BE DEMOLISH WITH THE
 AID OF A LEGEND INDICATING WHICH WALLS WILL REMAIN AND
 WHICH ONES WILL BE DEMOED. A PROPOSED FLOOR PLAN IS
 ALSO REQUIRED TO SHOW THE NEW LAYOUT OF THE STRUCTURE.
 THE DRAWINGS SHALL CLEARLY INDICATE WHICH WALLS ARE NEW
 AND THE ONES WHICH WALLS ARE EXISTING. AGAIN, A WALL
 LEGEND WILL HELP TO IDENTIFY THE NEW WALLS AND THE
 EXISTING WALLS. THE PROPOSED PLAN SHALL SHOW THE
 ADDITION OR RECONFIGURATION OF ANY SYSTEM. CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS SHALL BE OF SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO INDICATE
 THE LOCATION, NATURE AND EXTENT OF THE WORK PROPOSED
 AND SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT WILL CONFORM TO THE
 PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES,
 RULES AND REGULATIONS. 106.1.1. THE DRAWINGS NEED TO
 CLEARLY SHOW THE WORK TO BE CARRIED OUT FOR THIS
 PROJECT.
  
 6) NOTE: FBC (EXISTING) LEVEL 2 ALTERATION INCLUDE THE
 RECONFIGURATION OF SPACE, THE ADDITION OR ELIMINATION
 OF ANY DOOR OR WINDOW, THE RECONFIGURATION OR EXTENSION
 OF ANY SYSTEM, OR THE INSTALLATION OF ANY ADDITIONAL
 EQUIPMENT.
  
 7)THE SUBMITTED DRAWINGS INDICATE THE OCCUPANCY TYPE
 AS TYPE 6 MULTI-STORY. THERE IS NO TYPE 6 OCCUPANCY
 PLEASE SEE FBC CHAPTER 3 FOR THE USE AND OCCUPANCY
 TYPES.THE DRAWINGS ALSO STATE THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT IS
 ABOVE 60 FEET. THE PLANS NEED TO BE SPECIFIC WHEN
 STATING THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT.
