 2007 REVISIONS, CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO
 CHAPTER 1 (W.P.B.), FLORIDA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE
 (F.A.C.), AND FLORIDA STATUTES (F.S.).
  
 THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS ARE NUMBERED TO CORRESPOND WITH
 THE PREVIOUS GAS PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS AS WELL AS THE
 DESIGNER'S RESPONSES FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONTINUITY. NEW
 COMMENTS WILL BE SO NOTED FOLLOWING THE PREVIOUS REVIEW
 COMMENTS.
 NOTE: DESIGNER'S REPONSES WERE ON THE RESUBMITTAL
 FORM.

 4. NOTE: THE SUBMITTED MANUFACTURER SHEETS FOR THE GAS
 REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER ARE FOR PROPANE GAS HOWEVER THE
 SUBMITTED GAS DRAWINGS ARE INDICATING NATURAL GAS.
 PLEASE CLARIFY. PER (W.P.B. AS AMENDED) SECTION 106.1.1
 INFORMATION ON CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS.
  
 **RESPONSE NOTED AS WELL AS INVOICE FROM ERVIN'S
 CABINET SHOP INDICATING THAT A NATURAL GAS KIT WAS
 INSTALLED IN THE CRYSTAL COLD PROPANE REF., HOWEVER THE
 RESUBMITTED MANUFACTURER'S SHEET DO NOT INDICATE A
 LISTING FROM A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED TESTING LABORATORY
 THAT THE CONVERSION KIT FROM PROPANE GAS TO NATURAL GAS
 IS APPROVED. THE CSA LISTING ON THE SUBMITTED
 MANUFACTURER SHEET IS FOR PROPANE GAS ONLY. PLEASE
 PROVIDE THIS REQUIRED INFORMATION FROM THE MANUFACTURER
 INDICATING THE CONVERSION KIT FROM PROPANE TO NATURAL
 GAS IS APPROVED FOR THIS APPLIANCE. PER STANDARDS NFPA
 54, NFPA 58 AND FBC-2004 FUEL GAS SECTION 301.3 LISTED
 AND LABELED.
  
 5. VALUE FOR THE JOB IS TO LOW. JOB MUST INCLUDE THE
 PRICE OF THE GAS REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER. PLEASE SEE A
 COPY OF THE APPLIANCE PRICE FROM AN ONLINE SEARCH
 INDICATING THE PRICE AS $2363.00 ATTACHED TO THESE
 COMMENTS. PLEASE ADJUST THE VALUE AND PAY THE
 DIFFERENCE BEFORE RESUBMITTING.
 PER FBC-2004, CHAPTER 1, SECTION
 108.3, BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION: IF IN
 THE OPINION OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL,
 THE CLAIMED VALUATION OF THE BUILDING,
 ALTERATION, STRUCTURE, ELECTRICAL, GAS
 MECHANICAL OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS APPEARS
 TO BE UNDERESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION,
 THE PERMIT SHALL BE DENIED. FOR
 PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION OF
 BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL
 REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL,
 ELECTRIC, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR
 FINISH, NORMAL SITE WORK (EXCAVATION AND
 BACKFILL FOR BUILDINGS), ARCHITECTURAL
 AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING COSTS,
 OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND
 VALUE. VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE
 THE LATEST PUBLISHED DATA OF NATIONAL
 CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS SERVICES (MARSHALL-SWIFT,
 MEANS ECT.) WITH
 REGIONAL ADJUSTMENTS FOR LOCATION AS
 PUBLISHED BY INTERNATIONAL CODE
 CONGRESS.
  
 **RESPONSE NOTED, HOWEVER THE VALUE IS THE TOTAL COST
 INCLUDING THE PRICE OF THE NEW APPLIANCE. THE VALUE ON
 THE PERMIT APPLICATION NEEDS TO BE ADJUSTED TO $3563.00
 AND THE DIFFERENCE PAID BEFORE BEING RESUBMITTED FOR

 IS REQUIRED FROM THE - PALM BEACH COUNTY COURTHOUSE -
 4TH FLOOR RECORDING DEPT. 205 N. DIXIE HWY., BEFORE A
 PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED. PER FS 713.13 (2): IF THE
 IMPROVEMENT DESCRIBED IN THE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT IS
 NOT ACTUALLY COMMENCED WITHIN 90 DAYS AFTER THE
 RECORDING THEREOF, SUCH NOTICE IS VOID AND OF NO
 FURTHER EFFECT.
