 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
 COOPERATION.
  
 2)2004 FBC EXISTING
 301.5 THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL OR AN OWNER MUST ELECT
 ONE OR A COMBINATION OF LEVELS OF ALTERATION PURSUANT
 TO SECTIONS 303, 304 AND 305 OF THIS CODE.
  
 3)THE CONTRACTOR ON THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS A CBC
 CONTRACTOR WHO IS NOT ALLOWED TO DO ANY WORK PERTAINING
 TO THE STRUCTURAL WALLS OF THE BUILDING. A CERTIFIED
 GENERAL CONTRACTOR OR A CERTIFIED FIREPROOFING COMPANY
 SHALL APPLY FOR A SEPARATE APPLICATION TO SEAL ALL
 FLOOR/CEILING PENETRATIONS.
  
 4)712.4.1.2 THROUGH PENETRATIONS SHALL BE PROTECTED
 BY AN APPROVED THROUGH-PENETRATION FIRE STOP SYSTEM
 INSTALLED AND TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 814 OR
 UL 1479, WITH A MINIMUM POSITIVE PRESSURE DIFFERENTIAL
 OF 0.01 INCH OF WATER. THE SYSTEM SHALL HAVE AN F
 RATING AND A T RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 1 HOUR BUT NOT
 LESS THAN THE REQUIRED RATING OF THE FLOOR PENETRATED.
 PLEASE INDICATE THE UL ASSEMBLY NUMBER FOR THE FLOOR
 PENETRATION WHERE THE PLUMBING PIPES WILL BE REMOVED
 AND CAPED. WHERE ANY PIPES ARE REMOVED FROM THE FLOOR
 CEILING/ASSEMBLY, THE HOLES SHALL BE SEALED WITH A UL
 ASSEMBLY WHICH SHALL MAINTAIN THE FLOOR RATING.
